To the average Joe the layout of this car is a pain in the ass but that said this a is a specialist car, not an everyday driver, if you can afford one then none of it's eccentricities are a problem, not to me anyway, this is something to drive and take to the racetrack, what a great looking and sounding car, the British, in my opinion make the best sports and touring cars in the world, not everyones taste but they are mine, what a beaut.

I had a 2001 TVR Tuscan S with 390 hp. Most thrilling riding experience ever. But you have to be focused, there are no safety devices between you and the engine. This is the purest way of driving a sportscar. Loved it very much. After two years of ownership I had no issues at all. Know your car, warm up the car properly and then enjoy it. Neglect and abuse at cold engines is the main reason for reliability issues.

A few things to understand. Firstly. Removing the wheel to change a battery, is not a big deal. Try changing a battery on a 458 or 488. TVR ownership is all about quirkyness. Also, it's a kit car in reverse. You purchase a whole car, and it disassembles itself. Lastly. 5 cars in the western hemisphere? You do realize that the UK and the entire western Europe is part of the Western Hemisphere.

'Full tour'? You forgot to show people that the bottom cushions on the seats lift out to (1) convert them to a deep bucket for track use; and (2) give you a lot more headroom to wear a helmet on a trackway. And put some trousers on and behave like at least a semblance of an adult, nothing about you is pleasant, least of all any part of your body.

Doug you reviewed 1 of the 2 in Collingwood/Blue Mountain. There is a yellow one also that is in the blue mountains British classic car club. There is a tvr 2500 also in black and white with the licence plate lepew and a couple Bristols. This is the area all the rich people from Toronto move to so there are quite a few cool cars

Cheap sports cars, no anti lock brakes, traction control, rattling body work, bad button placement and impracticality, but they dont hang about. TVRs were built in my town (Blackpool) Im proud, used to see a lot of them when I was younger, but now I only see a few every once in a while and theyre usually sagaris

In the early 2000s the gumball 3000 did a run out of San Francisco. A bunch of rich Europeans shipped their cool cars to the states to drive fast across America. It was here I watched 2 (yes, two) TVRs drop their trani fluid all over the street trying to hotrod around. Had me laughing, I'll never forget it.

After 5 mins of this video fell in love with it. After watching Jag get more and more corporate it's so nice to see a car with some character. I got bored with my XF. Loved my S-Type way more. No way I would get this though, living outside of the UK getting parts would be a nightmare. Phillip.

The rear lights and signals aren't supposed to be on the trunk/tailgate. That way, You can drive with the trunk open and a larger cargo item sticking out, and people can see your signals, etc. At least that's the American reason. Putting a sign inside the trunk was just weird.
