A few of the first GT 350's were reported to have engine failure from bad crankshafts. The fine print in the contract said that using a quart of oil every 500 miles was normal consumption. I assume the crankshaft problem, if it existed, was fixed by Ford. I'm not sure if 500 miles per quart of oil is still considered by Ford to be normal consumption. But, hey, it's a race engine and is probably clearanced like one.

If I were ever to buy a Mustang, Id seriously consider this R simply for the option of no options. New cars Ive looked at dont even allow the deletion of idiotic features like nav screen and back-up camera. I find those items completely unnecessary on almost all vehicles and find the fact theyre touted and celebrated as standard is nothing more than completely stoopid in my book. Like Doug-level stoopid.

Magnetic suspension was invented around 2 decades ago, thing is, it was too expensive to be used in vehicles efficiently, but Ill tell you what, Ive driven one of these and these are by far one of the best mustangs Ive ever driven, feels like ur in control, and it feels and is fast, and its very very cool imo

I personally think that you should do that take off footage on every single car, sometimes showing all the quirks and features is not enough. I need to hear the sound of the exhaust taking-off to feel like I know every single detail of itI love your videos regarless lol

Has an awesome engine and great gearbox and they choose to ha e the longest gears ever. Does it do 90 in 2nd? If it was mine I would give it shorter gears and shift it all day. Especially with a flat plane crank that revs like that

The ONLY complaint I have with this review is that you can tell a GT350R apart from the standard GT350 because the cobra emblem on the front and back is red as compared to the standard silver on the GT350

Best way to identify the 350 vs 350R when its coming towards you on the road is that the Rs have thin red stripes on the outsides of the center stripes, the regular 350 does not.
