Doug's brain is captivated by cars that spend more time at the repair shop then they do on the road. If it's Italian or German, he's on board all the way and buys the hype. Anybody who has suffered financially from owning a German or Italian car knows what I'm talking about. If you don't factor cost of ownership then what's the point? As an owner of a 2018 LC500, I can tell everyone the car is a total joy to drive and to own. Lexus cars spend more time on the road being driven and enjoyed than all those cars with the higher Doug Score. I'm keeping mine

Like im talking about an AMG or BMW, but this is a Lexus. Idk why youre so surprised Doug, Lexus is up there compared to those overrated problematic German rockets. Perhaps Lexus is behind on the performance part, but there wont be single German automaker that is or has come close to the reliability of Toyota. Lexus is definitely overlooked and underrated. Germans only get their status because they always in music videos or movies and driven by the upper class.

I dont thing Doug takes the Lexus brand seriously like idk why when Lexus stands as the most reliable luxury brand and it always top offs the charts with amazing resale value, yes it might be boring compared to a Mercedes or Bmw but at least it works unlike other Luxury brands, keep in mind when the Lexus LS 400 came out it changed the whole luxury sedan world has we know it, all the Luxury brands struggle to compete with Lexus when when LS was launched

Absolute pure luxury compared to anything from Europe or America & I think Lexus as well as Genesis will dominate the luxury car market within 5 yrs. These vehicles cost a fraction compared to other luxury brands, considering a top of the line Platinum Cadillac retails over 100. 000 & no comparison to Japan / South Korea in regards to quality & features. Most the beautiful luxury coupe I have seen

I will never understand the hate for Lexus. The only thing the Germans are doing better is technology. I will buy one of these is a few years. It's the best looking car on the road. This is Aston Martin pretty. A N/A v8 that sounds great. I'm bathed in leather and fine materials. Also if it breaks it wont cost me a whole new car to fix unlike the Germans.

I first thought the Lexus LS 460 was the ultimate cross country car, however, after you drive this car on the freeway? Hahahahah You could drive at 120 ALL DAY in this. At that speed it feels like your getting ready for sleepy time in your Lazy-Boy. You can whisper on speaker phone at any speed. Perfect.

Lexus is one of the best brands out there. The truth is that I would sample through the Lexus brand and buy them all before I even consider, not buy, those ugly ass rip off brands, such as Lamborghini, Jaguar, etc. I love the LC500. The perfect car for comfort and luxury.

Good review, thanks Doug You might want to ask your wife about the interior cup holders, clock, dash movies & a/c vents. WOMEN buy cars too. I think Lexus is covering their bets and it easily compares to Aston Martin's DB11 as a good alternative for normal non-rich folks.

How do know that a Lexus is a high end car? When u take it to a Toyota dealership and they won't touch it. same goes for Nissan, good luck getting them to work on there infinity brand, or Honda and there Acura brand. they might change the oil.
