I've worked on a few of those. Terrible quality and really odd design. Mineral oil braking systems with dual engine block mounted hydraulic pumps and accumulators mounted in an impossible location. Leather wrapped leaf springs packed with grease to keep it quiet. Adequate horsepower twin turbo v8. Four 6 piston brake calipers with pads and rotors that need changing every 10-12k miles. The list goes on.

The door handle mystery, there a linkage attached to a cam. When the rear passenger pulls the handle, it pushes a rod forward or pulls a rod or cable or some such thing thing that actuates a cam or gear that actuates the actual door release that actuates the linkages that open the door. So when the driver does it. Its not pulling on the linkage that the rear handle uses.

I work for a geezer who bought one of these brand new in 2007 also. He's still got it, has done 80, 000 miles and hasn't missed a beat in 12 years. It's his weekend drive and sometimes drives it from southern England down to his villa in Spain and back in the summer. He gets it serviced before he goes and says he is 109% confident that it will get him there and back.

The reason he doesnt put the top down is because its broken. and the dealer hes borrowing it from is a sponsor that pays for Doug to advertise the car for sale and they only want him to talk positives about the car to the millions of people watching the video. many other examples throughout this video and others

Aside from the soft top, you know what I dislike about this car. and would change if I owned it? That steering wheel looks like it came from a Mondeo and had wood effect stickers put on it. Dunno what id change it for. but first thought turns to a wheel from an 80s Bentley. thin. wood. no airbag xD

Imma take a shit on it, jack off on it, dump period blood, leave a half smoked blunt in the ashtray, trash on the floor and empty payday bar wrappers all over the inside. then puke on it and smear it all over the car. then give it a dougscore and see how much it gained in value

This car weighs 3 tons, and youre complaining about its 0-60 from 2007, sorry to say Doug but youre completely clueless when it comes to your scoring, and rather unprofessional. The only positive that goes in your favour is you get to drive all these nice cars.

I've always wanted to see a tuning shop play with that big 6. 75 V8. Reduce the stroke and raise the firing speed a bit to trade some torque for power, strap it onto a Morgan or some other insanely lightweight car, and watch silliness unfold.

I also have a VW but a more humble model, the Passat. It is from 2006 and it has more buttons on the keyfab than the Azure, 5 settings for the heated seats and like the Rolls Royce it has an umbrella compartment in the driver's door.
