This dude has no idea about what people want in a car or truck. He said the Iconic and overland legend 4Runner is garbage and can't off road because of the outdated infotainment system, Doug have you ever spent time in the Hindu Kush in Afghanistan? I have and the Toyota platform saved my life, and I could give two shytes about Apple Carplay You need to learn a little bit about you subject before you present false information to the general public. I am surprised nobody has shut you down for made-up opinions. Please post your automotive engineering degree for us to see.

The problem with GM is, after KNOWINGLY installing faulty ignition switches for 6 YEARS AND BEGGING for a BAILOUT while doing so, how could anyone trust them? Why would any American want to buy from a company that's already screwed them twice? That's twice if you've been smart enough to never actually buy one Do you really believe they wouldn't do it again? Why would anyone give their hard earned money to a shithole company like GM?

Bought a 17 Colorado Z71 with the Duramax diesel. 48k miles later it had numerous electrical issues. Had it in the dealership for the better part of a month. Finally got fed up and told the dealer I didn't want it back. Two different mechanics I spoke to while hanging around the shop told me they see a lot of the diesels in the shop. left that day with a Zr2 V6. Loved the diesel but it has some bugs to get worked out.

I've got to say Doug, this isn't your best work. The ZR2 only tows 5000, not 7700. Also, how do you just skip the DSSV shocks? They are a huge part of the ZR2. The main reason I bought my ZR2 was the DSSV shocks, diesel engine and the front locker. I can afford a Raptor and still chose the ZR2. The Raptor is too wide for the trails I run and the Raptor doesn't have a front locker.

As a Washingtonian myself I'm embarrassed but not surprised to see the Bigfoot themed sticker and roots WA outline sticker. Those are like the new national icon of I'm an outdoorsy/adventurous young person around here. My friends and I go out of our way to snap pictures of WA plate Subaru Crosstrek's that don't have some version of a WA roots/tree heart beat sticker on it lol

I'd be more interested as a potential purchase as a next vehicle if it had a manual trans option. The reviwer seems to be in much depair that the pickup doesn't have the luxury amenities of a German autobahn cruiser and lacks the horsepwer of a Hellcat Challenger. I'm more concerned as to what the long term reliability and operating costs are going to be.

we have a colorado but its not a zr2 and its awesome and is a family vehicle, its very good and weve had no problems with it and love it very much the only complaint is the backseat having not a lot of space but thats our own fault and we should have got a full size truck for that reason so this truck is awesome and gm did a heck of a job

I've had my 2017 Z71 Colorado Diesel for nearly two years now. I've never experienced any of the issues other commentators have mentioned. Only a couple recalls were issued for my year model. 1: Infotainment Center update. 2: DPF sensor update. All was corrected with a couple of computer flashes. Keep on truckin'

7: 52 It should actually be a cut out reading ZR2 and it doesn't have the cut-out lines, either an aftermarket one or the owner got screwed by the dealer because the dealership I work at has a ZR2 and it doesn't say Colorado and I see a lot of Z71s with that light bar
