This is My Final Video and Warning Rodney Molidor, Jr.: On paper, the new 2020 Nissan Sentra looks like a nice car. They even put independent rear suspension on it, unlike most of the competition in economy class. And it's a really nice-looking car. Is there any chance in hell that Nissan rights the ship and it ends up being a car worth buying? You'd think they realized by now that their reputation for reliability is holding them back.

It's kinda weird. There is a tremendous amount of revealing info of how bad the transmission is. However Nissan absolutely insists on sticking with it to save-a-buck. I wonder if Scotty could could give us actual decline in sales figures. I bought a new Nissan Sentra SER in 2005. It had an automatic with actual gears. It was a great car but, someone rear ended me on the freeway and the car was totaled. I went to a dealer and drove the new one with the CVT and didn't like it. I wonder if any car manufactures will ever go back to a 5 or 6 speed automatic. I think the majority of buyers want it.

The Chrysler building (circa 1930) was one thing done right by Walter P. It was built of brick with an internal steel skeleton and was briefly the tallest skyscraper in the world. Though surpassed by the Empire State Building, it remains standing, 80 years later as the tallest brick structure on earth. It's flashy art-deco exterior, many elements of which were based on the 1929 Chrysler Speedster remains an iconic NYC image. The Chrysler family sold the building in the 1950s just as their car business began to tank. Come to think of it, the whole country began to tank in the 1950s

I have an 2007 Toyota Camry 2. 4V, Recently i did an extensive suspension change of perts on my camry and now i am facing an issue with the driving. Whenever i go through some highway corner around 80km, my car corner to the left just fine, but when i corner to the right often the traction control on the left front whells turn on and it is making me feel my car is dangerous. I dont have this issue when i am cornering to the left where my car feels stable and no traction control auto braking goes off. Can you advise on what is the possible issue?

Jeep was built by Willys Overland then Kaiser motors bought Willys in 1953 and Kaiser built jeeps then in 1968 AMC bought the rights to jeep from Kaiser. And 1987 Chrysler bought AMC. P. S Kaiser built some Kool cars but under powered with that flathead 6 but still nice looking cars. And I believe the jeep was originally the brain child of Bantam motor car company of Butler Pennsylvania. But the government during ww2 determined that Bantam could not produce the numbers that were needed. So the contract was split between Willys and Ford.

I don't see how CVT transmissions are going to survive. The one tear down I saw showed a device that relied on pure friction to transfer the power. Friction will wear at the surfaces. The worn surfaces are going to increase tolerances. The wider tolerances will promote slippage. More slippage will promote more wear and thus failure. I'd be very surprised that CVT transmissions will last past 50, 000 miles. CVT looks good on paper. For the consumer CVT equates to short life span.

Thank you Mr. Kilmer for all the videos you've produced in 2019. In my network, if anyone said maintenance of luxury cars were high, there's bound to be someone who reply of course it is high, expensive items come with high maintenance and you gotta start to earn more if you say such things After a steady diet of your videos, to hell with those ideas, i just need to get myself a reliable japanese sedan and save the rest of my money. Happy New Year sir

Video Topic Request: Scotty, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts about car companies that failed in the past. Did you work on these cars, what did people think, why do you think they failed, and why do we still have so many car companies producing poor quality vehicles (assuming this is why other companies failed. Love the videos Jim

My father used to say about Dodge and Chrysler back in the 60s and 70s, his grandfather used to point out all of the cars on the side of the road after it rained. Because Chrysler and Dodge has had electrical problems and everything imaginable if it rain they would not start. And he said the push a Matic transmission they had was garbage
