Effective and effecient procedures from people who worked in the industry for many years and decides to create his own company not some passionate person who jumps into the market without having worked in the industry. The auto industry doesnt like electric cars because they understand cars in the real world need to have range without costing a fortune. The origional Teslas all aluminum body had the lowest strenth to weight ratio in the industry and basic body assemble problems cause Tesla didnt get experienced people to design it. If an economical battery is ever concieved the auto industry could clean Elon Musks clock the next day.

I purchase and use Royal Purple in my vehicles. I had a 2002 PT cruiser that I ran to 280, 000 miles with Royal Purple. Original motor (no rebuild, original transmission, original clutch. When I sold it to some friends who are still happily driving it they replaced the clutch. I swear by Royal Purple products. I purchase a 5 gallon jug to do oil changes in my vehicles because it reduces the costs considerably. I also use royal purple oil filters as one of the best oil filters on the market currently. I use Royal Purple in my 96 Dodge Ram 2500, Honda Accord Crosstour, and Subaru Forester and very happy. Royal Purple oil and filters rank at the top in quality along with Amsoil products.

The Royal purple at Walmart is not the Royal purple being used in race cars Race cars use high zinc oils. All new spec oils are very low to no zinc as it destroys catalytic converters in the new direct injection engines that burn more oil than other engines. The zinc is needed in engines with high cylinder pressures to cushion the bearings. Even the Valvolene VR1 race oil that says high zinc carries the new low zinc spec, meaning they are lying I remember when Mobile 1 (Walmart super tech synthetic) came out it had a 15, 000 mile warranty. Now you have to pay more for it?

I actually ended up having to replace the head gaskets on my 3. 4L in my pontiac. Had a small scare not long ago where the temperature got so cold (windchill was -25) the thermostat froze shut. Temperature got to 230 at the max and hovered until I found a safe area to pull over. Had the heater on max heat, max flow. Tried driving about 30 minutes later and it kept 188-194 the rest of my drive home and hasnt gone over 200 since. Yes, Ive been watching the coolant level, the oil level, the oil cap, and checking the reservoir for oil in the coolant after every drive.

Lithium Carbonate is an excellent Mood Stabilizer. Not an antipsychotic 7-Up used to be lithiated soda. Its effects on mood were discovered by a Dr imprisoned in a Japanese POW camp. He was trying to treat Gout, caused by starvation. Lithium Urate is more soluble than calcium urate & it was thought they would exchange ions. Thereby removing the sharp, irritating Ca Urate from the joint. Donno If it worked for gout, but it is a mood stabilizer. Not antipsychotic. Since you are always on point w/ cars, I figured you might care about other comments.

Many years ago I had a fleet account that used royal purple in all their trucks. We had to replace the engines every 25 to 30, 000 miles because they refused to change the oil sooner than 20, 000 miles. After the 3rd one Ford denied them warranty coverage. When converting the hour meter to miles they were effectively putting around 45, 000 miles on the engines because they idled them almost 24 hours a day. Royal purple is great oil but you still have to change it regularly and within realistic limits.

I have used Castrol synthetic for over 20 yrs. I started putting it in my engine when the lifters were getting noisy. The lifter noise went away when i change it. Changed it at about 120, 000 km. Was good ever since then. My brother and sister in law bought it at about 190 - 200 km. And still was going at over 300 km. They still have it. There son is going to take it after that. 96 dodge dakota 44. 5. 2 318 v8. So castrol oil works for me and is cheaper than royale purple or even mobil 1 oil.

my moms 2011 ford edge did something weird when it was -45 that one day. shortly after starting driving up the ally to leave the transmission suddenly went out, in drive press on gas it acts like it was in park or something even switching to park and back didnt do it, had to restart think it worked fine after that also when it was around that cold in the -25 to 30s the driver side door sensor says it was open until it warmed up, any idea if it was just the cold or if something is wearing out?

I had a the same whining coming from an 06 v6 mustang turned out it was coming from my diff yeah had to replace the the whole thing. Hey Scotty Im running Ams Oil signature on an 18 Sierra 5. 3 only have right over 17k miles Ive changed it twice so far and plan on changing in the next 1k miles do you think changing 6k is a complete waste of money for the amount that oil goes for? Thats oil is rated at 25k miles but I dont trust that, should I squeeze more miles out of it?
