This Device is a Game Changer Serhii Berlinskyi: I know people using these in Eastern Europe a lot as there are many car scammers who fix up a wrecked car and try to sell it like a car that has never been in an accident. Usually they do a better job painting the car than here in the US. I would still get one of those just to see if I got a good eye on detecting whether the car was repainted or not. Scotty, thanks for content

Just open the hood and check the framing and get on your knees for the rear and look under the car framing for both repainted areas. Also check the front headlights if one is foggy and the other is clear it had an accident. And finally if the lines between the car body fenders and the hood dont line up perfectly with all even spacing then that is an accident as well. Scotty as usual is trying to sell a Bulls#+ product that probably costs a lot of mula? Use your eyes because it is FREE and educating

Great video. I watch every video you post. After car been repainted it's never the same. I bought 10 years ago a 1994 Mercedes SL500 car was yellow. When I replaced weatherseals noticed the front on the car was red and the rear green. So two cars probably welding together and became a true lemon yellow. Bought the car from car auction. One of many mistakes buying a car from a car auction.

I still wonder how paint jobs on cars in the prehistoric days (the early 70s) looked so good, even paint jobs that were aftermarket. Years ago I had a 1972 Pontiac Grandville, and had it repainted in 1981. And for years after that, the paint has a nice, rich, glossy look, and it aged well over time, keeping a good shine, and not going dull.

I'm on my second used car and had great success but the one thing I absolutely do NOT want to do on a used car is paint or body work It's an endless unwinnable battle IMHO. Bad joints, new suspension/brakes/tires/head gasket --no problem Body rot/rust --NEXT Lol Guys/gals that can deal with body rot/rust --more power to ya'.

Thanks, Scotty I'll be sure to get one before I buy my next used car. I recently needed ti buy a wiper bc my passenger wiper flew off my car while in use. Since I had seen your video about silicone wipers, went out & bought one. Thanks for all the knowledge you share with us, very helpful

I'm a paintless dent repair tech and that little device would be so handy when trying to figure out if i can glue pull a certain spot on a dented car. There's a few times when ive ripped off chunks of bondo. Money lost cause i had to pay to get the car painted then

I dont see the point. If it looks ok and is metal, whats the problem if it has a new sideskirt? It just means you have a new sideskirt and its even been painted. You even say factory paints are too thin. So a thick layer must be good?

Interesting. However when my car was repainted the guy did an amazing job I and some friends inspected it closely and it looked as if she just came out of the dealership. Im sure that lil gadget wouldve said sometjing different tho

Please explain to us why too much paint is bad, you did not. Your complaint seems to be it's not nearly perfect, that is sad sorry to say. My God the poor bastard that painted that fender was off a mil or so. end of the world stuff.
