Test driving a Laser Blue Lotus Elise Salty Dade: I got a few of these and I'm selling my 2008 with basically an all new carbon and leather interior and there are carbon bits on the exterior and it is cherry red with black racing stripes. Has a custom exhaust. Custom stereo, and best part yet is only 15, 568 miles and an upgraded engine out of a 2015 corvette c7 stingray. Also the top speed is 235 and 0-60 is 2. 2. And it has 540 horse power.

Hi James Your videos are awesome and your Gallardo is breathtakingBut let me give you a little tip to improve your italian; ) When you say Speciale keep in mind that the sound 'cia' is like the sound of the word ciao (italian for hello) or of the word challenge. So, next time you'll know how to correctly pronounce Ferrari 458 Speciale: )

So what? Would you buy a ND miata and throw a reliable turbo/supercharger on it to arrive at 30k or buy a used lotus for 30k? Anyone's thoughts? I have always wanted a lotus because I love small cars but if a miata has 50/50 weight similar curb weights then do you just buy into the style?

I cant believe that you own a god damn Lamborghini but are so exited to drive a little Elise: D I like Lotus, but not this kind of Elise. I could understand you if you drove a Clupsportcar or a faster Lotus than this Elise. but whatever: D

Damn, I'd love to drive one of these. Can one do a test drive for fun? Or do you always have to be interested in buying it? Maybe to put it like this: Can you do a test drive without even being able to buy the car? :D

You should consider getting a storage lift for your garage. They are only about 5K and it will turn your one car into a two car garage. I have a two car garage with my NSX stored above the wife's daily driver.

Nice, it is rare that there are still people (include me) that actually appreciate Lotus. I mean, check out their history, don't just look at it as a brand. Hope to see a test drive of the Evora 400.

When I saw the title and the intro to this video I thought it was going to be a throwback video of you buying your Elise. Also is your buddy's car stickered up for Corsa America Rally?

I own the same car, bought it used for 16, 500 only had 300 miles on it. I feel like I got a good deal especially where I'm at because people around here don't buy cars like that.

Those are the wheels that came with the base suspension. They tell you nothing about whether the car has the touring pack. Why is this is hard for Elise owners to understand?
