We don't have the population density to support people trains as in Europe, but we do have the products in bulk to support NGO transport, i. e. our freight rail service, which not only transports, but also pays taxes while so doing.

Great run there, nice to see the contrasts as you went from lower level right up, showing areas still very much still had their snow blanket on. Just a pitty with the rain, plus there better than the snow.

At 57: 32 you just passed a cabin with just the roof showing because of all the snow, I would assume these are all mainly summer cabins in this area? . Anyway thanks HCG for another outstanding video.

At Myrdal on the left at 1: 25: 54 is a Speno rail grinding train for smoothing and recontouring the rail heads. When it is operating, the underside appears similar to the Kilauea eruption in Hawaii.
