Commuter train from Bergen to Mjlfjell through the morning fog at ygre. This train is mainly used by commuters and school children. Not so many of them during the autumn vacation. Most of the passengers usually get on the return from Mjlfjell to Voss and then Bergen. Mjlfjell is also a hugely popular cabin and recreation area for people from Bergen and Oslo. There is also a military training facility located here with a active shooting range in the mountains. The name Mjlfjell translate to Flour Mountain. This comes from the rock type anorthosite which give it the white flour like color. omg. last week I was thinking about a night train journey with you, and now we do it. what an incredible great match in thinking. or do we believe in coincidence? ;)
And now I sit in the nocturnal darkness of my living room, and watch with headphones your Vid and it is the culmination of my work day. relaxing and fascinating and the most beautiful of this day at the same time - thank you very much for it. =)
3: 50 woooow. what a look, nice nice. these mists are mystical and fantastic at the same time, they remind me of fairy tales and Star Trek. like a flight through the infinite expanses of an unknown world full of secrets. hmmmmmmmmm

This is another great video - the mists and brightening dawn sky are lovely to see. HCG, I am starting to spot the trackside signs that tell you to operate the horn, and it seems you sound it about 200 meters or so before a station. Presumably, this is to alert people who are waiting that you will be there very soon. However, sometimes you sound the horn in the middle of nowhere - there does not appear to be anyone around to hear you. Why is that? :O)

Wow HinduCowGirl another great video and they keep getting better. Whats next video in 3D! Early morning is the best with the fresh morning air and the clear blue sky revealing it's self as day breaks. Fog patches around the tracks as the train's headlight pierces the cool pristine Norwegian air. Thank you for the stress relief and please keep them coming. Now I am going to grab a coffee and watch it again with the lights out.

Finally a complaint: ) - Wheres the klack klack sound gone? - I keep trying to listen for them, and theres only that new ringing sound and an occasional klack klack - Its barely there - Is that due to the new style of rail line installed?

Now that just about ALL of us love the looooonnnnngggg videos - Its impossible to watch many travel videos now. Look what you have done! :) - Even Train modellers are adding tiny cams into the front of their trains

I'm not sure how it's possible, but Norway is beautiful even when you can't see it. Seriously, what a beautiful trip. Do you have one of this route in full daylight? You are such a great ambassador for your country.

That cloud before she took off looks like a Klingon Bird of Prey. Tunnels look like Doctor Who wormholes and the tri-point headlight system looks like a targeting HUD. Norway and its trains are awesome!

What are you using for a camera now? A friend of mine visited Norway and everything is a lot more expensive than where he lives in the UK. He rode is motorcycle up to the arctic circle.

Excellent perspective of and early morning run. Do you ever run the sleeper train into Bergen? That would be a nice change! ?
Thank you for sharing! :): ): )
