Behold the first video in 360 where YOU can move the camera around. On this trip we're going from track 20 through Track 3 to Track 7 and up to what we call the stable, and down to Track 1 at Voss. The train departs from Voss at 7: 20am and arrives in Bergen in Track 2 in Bergen at 8: 36am This installment was recorded with a GoPro MAX. Note: World Lock did not work as intended hence the drifting of the image. Issue has been communicated to GoPro. An intriguing result with the 360. great work! Your videos present much of the beauty of Norway, which I greatly appreciate. I noticed a few comments about the limitations of view (i. e, more closer to 180 because of the cabin side/rear limitations, and the thought crossed my mind that with today's technology it might be plausible to mount cameras on left, right, and rear windows, and then somehow combine the videos into a full panoramic view which effectively eliminates the cabin/train, thereby creating the illusion of floating on the track with full 360. After some Googling, I found some articles involving 360 video stitching which seems to be advancing recording technology towards the feasibility of such an idea. Just some thoughts on your pioneering towards a hypothetical HinduCowGirl's SUPER 360: -).

How did you hide yoursefl AND drive the train? You have a blind pulled down between the cabin and the windscreen. So at first, I figured you put camera ins back locomotive and reversed the video. But then when you look at cars on parralel roads, they are not going backwards. So how did you manage to drive the train with the blinders down, preventing you to see?

Finally watched on PlayStation VR last night, what an amazing ride! Don't let a bunch of naysayers get to you, I think it's cool that you're expanding your horizon (quite literally. Hope to see more of these VR trips! Camera placement was just fine as it put me almost in your shoes.

wow, I didn't know you could do this. Works good on my old windows 7 computer.
Was hoping to be able to see you also, but I guess you figured that out beforehand. ( lol )
Enjoy all your videos, especially the ones where you talk about the trains and stations.

Sorry, HKG, it's not a 360, just barely a 180, because we cannot 'see' sideways - plus the 'tube version seems very jerky, as though the frame rate is too low for the camera. I was hoping to see you HKG, for the first time, but no: -(.

Im going to have to walk back my earlier comment. I was watching it on my smart tv and was unimpressed but when I watched it on my lap top or cell phone it was great. Thanks HG for keeping things interesting for the Herd.

360 from a standing viewpoint is one thing BUT, 360 moving? Totally sussed out by the technology! Another 1st from HCG. (and yes, it was all too obvious I would try to see the driver ROFL)

New 360deg viewing didn't work for me. Sent me to some App which didn't work also. Normal view much better for me. Had to quit viewing as gantries spilt causing distraction.

What I truly envy is your solid stable track bed, and your smooth suspen systems. You would laugh at the pathetic passenger equivalents over here.

Can't stand the 360 video. Keeps moving around and won't stay in any position. Sorry but I'll be back when you switch back to simple HD.
