How to control: Phone/pad: move the phone around to the desired viewpoint, or use your index finger to move the picture on screen, pretty intuitive: ) Mac/PC: Use trackpad or mouse to move the image around. Just click and drag. VR: Well, pretty self-explanatory. ;) I can't count how many times I have been re-rendering this video now to find solutions from what wen't down last time, but finally! EUREKA! I found a way! I switched placement of the camera so it's now upside down to see if that gives a better view. I know I can fix the angle of the rotation, that has been fixed wit the angle on the placement in later videos, so don't worry about that. :) Pretty much back to square one with this camera. Okey, so this is the return from the first 360 video. Driving back from Bergen to Voss on a sunny autumn day. PS: If yhou don't like the 360-vids, STAY CALM! I will still be posting the normal videos, just not on the same day! :) I made that perfectly clear in the community section. :) Bergen Line information: Flam Line information: Signaling information: Line information and speed: Train Stops at: Bergen Arna Trengereid Vaksdal Stanghelle Dale Bolstadyri Evanger Bulken Voss

Just to clear up a point, I have nothing against your videos, In fact I love watching your videos and have watched nearly all of them. I find them extremely relaxing and I love the scenery of your country. Its just the 360 part I don't like. You keep making normal videos and I will keep watching them.

Please go back to the old camera as this is not worth watching as all the detail is burnt out. Well done for trying the 360 view and I can see it might be useful in a different situation but certainly not for a train journey where we can no longer see the beautiful scenery.

Not convinced that I like how the camera handles things. The track looks as though it's metre gauge and, if all the upright posts are leaning in, surely the scenery must be distorted as well? Despite this, it's still another nice video.
reply

Surely your logo is not actually on the train screen. :D (Although it would be delightful.
At just before 2: 00, a train pulls in on your left and it looks like two trains joined. Did they join somewhere along the journey?

This is great! I can choose to view any angle out the windscreen edge to edge. Just click->Hold->and Drag the view around! Now I can watch out the side of the windscreen to view things we couldn't before. Sweet!

Your videos are awesome. I find them most relaxing. Norway is a beautiful place. I live on the very easy coast of Canada and it is alot here. except they took out the railway system here 30 years ago.

Come spring I'm taking my bike to Voss, pitching my tent directly on the railway station and shooting 360 video like crazy early in the mornings until I find a hinducowgirl bobbing along!

Keep it simple. When I watch the image rotates itself so I have to keep on adjusting. Sticking with just the forward view gives a perfect image every time.

can you do simulated of the control aswel so what we see what the throttle is / door etc, and the the call for clear from the cabin?
reply

The quality is immeasurably better than the first 360. Not an easy media to edit. Great video HCG, keep up the good work
