As it turned out it was a fascinating adventure as I realized the mayhem only inches in front of me was really a kind of organised chaos through which all the participants negotiated their paths safely without mishap. This is probably the best way to experience the streets of old Hanoi and discover just how many people with their belongings can be accommodated on one moped
