Ljubljana Railway Museum is home to fascinating collection of locomotives from across Europe, we see early ornate locomotives where the look of the engine was important to more utilitarian examples where the ease of maintenance was a major factor in the design. The museum is based in a former locomotive depot complete with a working turntable onto which staff kindly moved a number of locomotives for our group to see and photograph. We also take a look at an exhibition of signalling equipment and track maintenance vehicles. Gosh (to me) they certainly have a collection of pretty unique locos. Some big suckers there too, good looking restorations. Some of the old girls waiting their turn look pretty challenging. Thanks for posting.

12: 19 Some of these 'rust buckets' have surely passed their used by date, even for a museum setting. They need to be kissed goodbye and sent to the junkyard. Or am I being too harsh? -

I lovec this museum. Really interesting collections, especially old enginemens clothing. Best 2 euros i ever spent

I have a velocipede almost identical to the one -15: 58. I also have a 4 wheel hand car and a small motor car.
