Three Deltic diesel locomotives in action at one time, sounds too good to be true, yet this how the DPS (the Deltic Preservation Society Ltd) and the Bluebell Railway celebrated the DPS-s 40th Anniversary. Over the 3 day extended weekend all service trains were operated using Class 55 Deltic diesel locomotives, including a 12 carriage train. The only other locomotive in action was a Class 09 diesel shunter giving brake van rides. Join me to savour the awesome sights and sounds created by D9002, D9009 and 55019

Good to see the Old Girls, they need to be on mainline, 100mph running. 25mph max on one engine, cant be doing them any favours.

Yeh. It's very beautiful olds railway traditions and trains technic who saved Deltic Soc. on this oldest UK way. Great video report. Thanks!
