In Part 6 of our meandering cross country journey from Poprad Tatry to Bratislava we follow a single track secondary line from Prievidza to Zbehy where we venture onto a branch line to Rado-ina that has not seen a train for many years. The driver even had to check that the line was still in place beneath the thick undergrowth at Rado-ina. The long day was starting to take its toll on memory cards and batteries, hence the first half of the trip is seen from the driver-s cab whilst the trip along the branch is seen as a passenger

Tim,
I always enjoy your trips with the Grumpy Diesel. I've noticed that they are still recovering from the breakup of the former Soviet Union. The stations, locomotives and rolling stock look like something out of the '70s and, in most cases, a little -tired- -- in need of a coat of paint at the very least. I also noticed a lot of the track-side signals are dark.
Thanks for another wonderful and interesting video.

I just love those modern stations, just as well you show the names so I know were passing through them. Great video as usual Tim.

amazing how the line is open and not fenced off from the public. a nice open ride with views of the countryside and houses.

Such a pity the driver's view camera wasn't operating for the full journey, but it was still worth watching. Thanks Tim.
