In this video we set out on the last leg of a most enjoyable visit to the Waldviertelbahn. Whilst our steam locomotive No. Mh1 took water, I walked over to the station platform where notice boards were set up giving an insight into the rebirth of the line. I photographed some of the boards, they can be seen near the beginning of this video. As a bonus we join a standard gauge cross border train to the Czech Republic along the Emperor Franz Joseph Railway between Gm-nd (Austria) and -esk- Velenice (Czech Republic

-Cross Boarder-? Angry lodger! Border, actually! I looked at those boards at the beginning of the video. I could make out some of what was said in them, but I'm afraid that after 28 years, my German may be a bit on the rusty side.
