Hi, Tim! Interesting this line with old-school semaphore signals and manually operated gates at the level crossings, you could reduce the image to sepiatone, add some -old film effect-, fold the audio down to mono and people would think you've rescued an old reel of film and converted it to video, but alas the illusion would be spoiled by the modern cars turning up at the crossings, and parked along the side road coming into Tenterden. plus the visibility vests worn by station staff.

Tim, this is the other half of the walnut. Not an exact replica of the earlier viewed edition, but with some symmetry; tending to completeness.
My only regret is that the fixed camera did not afford a surreptitious view of Bodiam castle. Such a wonderful area to visit.
It is sadly, many years, since I visited & enjoyed this delightful line. I wish the volunteers & organisers well in their endeavours.

I want to tell you how much I have enjoyed your pair of videos. Earlier, I watched the trip from Tenterden to Bodiam. Today I watched the return trip from Bodiam to Tenterden. I thoroughly enjoyed both of them. In particular, I got a big thrill watching the sheep running away as the train approached with their babies running and following their mama sheep. Thank you for the two excellent videos.

Hi Tim - That was brilliant mate, I am sure I could smell the smoke.
Camera location and clarity really made this a fantastic ride, more please.
You can a lot from watching this video, I did.
Was this always a single track, hard to make out, my guess is single?
At 30; 00 into the video are they Southern Railway Walrus Ballast Hoppers?
Regards Chris

The spring loaded points almost caught me out. Thought I was going to see a run through on the run round. Haven-t been on the line since 1989 but this video has inspired me to visit this year. What a great line. A credit to the staff there.

Gotta love that Colonel Stephens vibe! I wish I lived close, or even adjacent, to this lovely line. The collection of beautifully restored coaching stock on its own makes it worth a visit. Excellent video!

Than you very much for this lovely trip you let us see. A few years ago I made as a tourist from Holland this train trip and now I saw it again. I will keep following you here in the Netherlands.

The return journey is just as delightful as the journey out.
I'm wondering how large a memory card you need for long journeys? Is the video compressed a lot to reduce memory usage?

Interesting signalling with no distants yet very outer homes. Is this because the K&ES is a light railway, as opposed to say the Bluebell as a heavy railway?
