I never knew the kind of work that went in to make these designs. Let alone it being made by a Dutch person.
I watched this video in awe. Thats due to the fact that I am a train driver in the Dutch harbor. So I have seen most, if not all, the designs made by Simon for various companies (SBB, RTB, RFO, Lineas. I am lucky enough to have driven a few of SBB Vectron locomotives with gorgeous designs: Shadowpiercer (193-658, Hollandpiercer (193-525, to name 2 of them that stand out the most for me. With the latter one being my favorite. As for the Silverpiecer in the video. I have seen it up close, its simplicity makes this livery fantastic to look at. It stands out over the blue ones SBB has.
Now that I know who is responsible for the designs and how they came to be, I appreciate it even more.
Awesome video man, really well made!

It is indeed a very effective and deterrent against vandalism on locomotives, as their central structure is a white canvas for a variety of artistic interventions. Thank you for sharing the video and most important for reveal your fantstic voice to the audience, as personally i am not a fan of voiceless script videos like the ones you are specialist on your fantastic vlogs. Just my oppinion.

As a graphic designer and railway enthusiast, I really enjoyed this video. Learning about the concepts and birth of the liveries, as well as how a loco is wrapped too.
(Just one criticism, I realise the subtitles are automatic and not very good (I kept reading badly translated words, perhaps someone could check through the video? I could offer to do it, if it would help)

Locomotives across the world is what keeps the railways running. Including freight locomotives that is ideal to take HGV and heavy vehicles carrying freight containers off the roads and to put them onto railways is the best way to reduce congestion and to help our planet.

Ooohhh this is why you where so often at Railcolor. So cool, okay I haven't seen it all but so far it's an awesome video.
Good editing as well, totally different than the usual stuff.
Okay, many words to say, -I like this video-.

Why is that so good, but at the same time, the damn SNCF Carmillion keep peeling of TGV? It-s so bad and ugly, where we had the great orange and awesome atlantic liveries. Plain white, an some not even sticking stickers.

Normally, till the 1960ies they werevdesigned with taste. Except in the former Warsaw pact states mixingngreen andnblue parts togther with stripes of pooish brown is a no go. ----

The -Gottardo- Alpenpiercer 1 is actually what lured me back into model railroading after over 10 years out of it Currently I got two -XY-Piercer--Vectron models, planning to make it 3.
