In part 1, we ride behind a Class 47 diesel locomotive from Brighton to Southall, then onward to Weymouth behind steam locomotive 'Tangmere'. See part 2 (to be published in the next few days) for the return trip behind steam locomotive Oliver 'Cromwell' to Southall and Class 47 on to Brighton. The highlight of this trip is the use of 'Tangmere' to bank our train on the steep climb out of Weymouth to Dorchester junction

There are some great deals available at the moment. My latest small Sony video camera uses memory cards. I now trust memory cards, but I am careful to save them to 2 separate external hard drives before formatting the card, as I would hate to loose the footage.

Hi, I use a Sony Handycam Model HDR-HC9E. It is getting on a bit now, but I like using Mini DVD tapes, although I have newer cameras, this one is still my main camera. It also takes good still photos.
