here is a list of locations i know:
all stations, the haunted mansion fastpass area, critter country(splash mountain queue/onride, hungry bear restauraunt and basically there is a trestle there for good views. the big thunder ranch jamboree(there is a crossing there so good whistle, its a small world
anyway the Holliday is going down for a rebuild this month so she wont run in a while.
also ask at main street station for a cabride you might wait a while but its worth it

Wow seems like a quiet day with only the Gurley and Kimball running my two favorite forneys. Great perspectives on the line. So far I have found a few that I like. Wish they cleared out some brush and put up park like viewing areas where people can see the DRR like in Fantasia Gardens between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.

amazing! the engineer on #3 put lots of whistle on the critter country trestle-
look closely when #5 departs main street station, the engineer had it difficult to move the traon

The Disneyland railroad is always the 1st ride i ride when i go there. ALways a great experience. I never go there without riding it once around the park
