The Pacific Surfliner is the very best way to travel between San Diego, Anaheim, Los Angeles, Oxnard, Ventura, Santa Barbara & San Luis Obispo. I rode the Pacific Surfliners a total of 9 times, 7 of those times were when they were called the San Diegans when the y only traveled between San Diego & Los Angeles. I rode Pacific Surfliner train 769 to Oxnard on 5/27/2017 to visit the Oxnard-Ventura area for the day & returned to San Diego on Pacific Surfliner train 1790 the same day. My round trip on the Pacific Surfliner was very relaxing, comfortable & enjoyable, I didn't have to deal with the traffic at all. I will become a regular rider on the Pacific Surfliner in the future when I'm home in the Civilized San Diego area traveling to & from Los Angeles & Oxnard alternating between the 2 cities every other visit.

Nice video Mike! Finally I got to see your first clip! I literally started out on level one; A Metrolink train was the first I ever filmed! My favorite shot in this video was the one at 8: 01. The horn on 455 was awesome! Awesome work on this video, I enjoyed watching it!

All horns must be reduced by 1/2 the sound pollution or something. So they all are getting installed with these reducer things. I dont know all the details

It seems 2005 was the year Surfliner trains made the permanent switch to having the cab cars face north instead of south between Los Angeles and San Diego.
