I pass by those mtns. on my way to Santa Rosa a couple times a year but never guessed that gem of a railroad was there including it's Transcontinental Railroad history I read about on Wikipedia. Thanks for the nice video.

4: 10 wow, that was a lot of wheel slip there.
I can personally say that this engine has one of my favorite whistles. I like those low pitch 5-6 chime passenger whistles.
