And this isn-t even all of their engines. They have went from 1958-now. And their older engines were Reading 1187/4, a camelback which kinda failed her life on stras-burg but was on switching duties after words, unfortunately in 1967 (also the year engine 90 came) 4 was taken out of service and was never seen running agin they moved her around the yard and even moved her to the railroad museum, and after so many years from 70s, 80s, and 90s, she ended up rotting terrible but in 2020 the age of steam bought her where she is today, now we go to the first steam engine strasburg bought -31- this engine was a switcher and was never retired untill she was starting to move around the tracks and made a speaking metal noise and in 2009 she went under rebuild. As of 2022, it is said to return since 90 is going down for rebuild. Next up is 1223 a PRR American, she lived 2 decades on strasburg, in 1989 she was retired after some months and now she is in the railroad museum along with 89-s replacement, -7002- another PRR engine she is a 4-4-2.

Hey Mike, guess what: I watched All About Fast Trains and Airplanes. The Fast Trains part features the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad and Strasburg Railway. Also, you should check out Metra's new heritage units #405 and #425. #405 is painted in Milwaukee Road heritage scheme and #425 is Rock Island heritage. You should see Metra's new ex-Amtrak F59PHI's in Chicago. Check those out, Mike.

Hey Mike, you should see Old Threshers in Mount Pleasant, IA. There are some trains there including trolleys. You can make a Trolleys Galore part 2 if you want. I remember in your video, -Trains at Sunset-, you saw a blimp while seeing a trolley. I love trolleys, Mike. How about you?

The Strasburg Railroad is one the other fun railroads. One of the steam locomotives. N&W 475 that you are filming is one of the steam locomotives from the railroad. It's also a movie engine from one movie. Called Thomas and the magic railroad. That movie came out in 2000.

Out of all the locomotives on the Strasburg roster 475 is my favorite also can-t wait until she returns to service in the next month in time for 611-s visit and I hope we can possibly get a doubleheader run with them both and a side by side photo together

When you ride the train at the Strasburg Railroad, you-ll feel like going back in the early 20th century when trains were the only way to travel around America. Until the late 1950s when passenger trains were replaced by airplanes and automobiles.

I wish I can go back to Strasburg Railroad. I went there as a young kid and never took advantage on what was around me. Thanks for sharing, Mike. Now I definitely want to go back. -Andrew Mangalindan

Absolutely great Mike. You've captured America from the past. The train blends perfectly with the scenery. Video quality is tops! I've visited the museum but didn't have a chance to ride the train.

I recall seeing this locomotive on the 2000 film from my childhood, Thomas & The Magic Railroad. So nostalgic and I love the video of you showing the engine off and I love the locomotive!
