I am one of those who went to university. for nothing. I studied translation and now I work in a kindergarten where they are exploiting me and also working in a hotel during the weekend, I have not one single day off. I kind of feel I wasted those five years. Five years where I could have done an apprenticeship or something else.
Anyway, when it comes to debt, it depends on where you study. I am Spanish, I did my whole degree at home (except for one exchange year) and with the previous government I managed to get scholarships who paid for tuition (not more than 800 /year. If I had had to ask for loans to pay THOUSANDS of to go to university, I'd have gone abroad where it is cheaper. Here in Germany it costs 250 /semester.

I completely agree with her on most points here. I didn't go to a big college, but I did get lots of work experience young, which gave me high paying job of my choosing down the road. I got married young, and we're still together. We have a mortgage, but we have a very low house payment and don't feel like we're 'chained' in any way to our home. Our house payment is lower than rent is in probably 97% of the USA. Our options are always open, as we never started out with that huge student loan debt to pay off. I wish more people would just stop going robotic after high school and give themselves time to think first. I see so much depression come out of it.

I'm currently t university 'racking up a student debt' studying to be a veterinary surgeon. which you cannot become without a degree. I am not fat but a healthy lean weight of 7 stone, i eat right and exercise everyday. So how can you say university degrees are crap and make you unhappy? I'm sure in 2 more years i will be much happier than you in the job of my dreams and with the financial security in that job to also go traveling where i want to, its a win win in my eyes, this only applies to pointless degrees that get you no where.

great idea guys. lets all not become educated and sit at home eating bananas all day? thats obviously how people like Nelson Mandela, who sadly passed this very day became such a great and inspirational person right?
just wondering freelee's suggestion on how the survival of man would go if we all learnt nothing?
perhaps freelee here should put her amazing energy into something a little more beneficial to society, rather than being a advocate for fruit eating. what a waste of energy. shame.

I laughed my arse off on this one, I watch your vids every day just to listen to you, but this time you made me think of something else besides nutrition. I don't wanna go to uni, I've realized something's wrong with the system, but never thought I could actually not have to go and still attract abundance following only my purpose. I wanna move to a sunny land full of fruits and share the HCRV / HCCV lifestyle, you are my inspiration, just so you know it. And I can't wait to meet you in person.

This is interesting; because for a long time I've been writing down my objectives and accomplished them, learnt about anything you can imagine, developed great self discipline and coordinated efforts around projects which are popular worldwide.
But never could write down something motivating around studying at University, although I'm doing at what I love the most.
The point is I always find time for solving hard and complex problems and never for studying.
So what do you think?

That house that you live in, that bike that you ride, that video camera you record this with. all designed, developed, and marketed by people with degrees. Thank you for being the mindless drone that pays for our products that pays for our degrees, so we can live fulfilling lives instead of resorting to gaining satisfaction from trying to debase people that enhance their value to society through self education. I guess if you eat too many bananas you finally go bananas; )

Silly video. I work in the corporate world and love it. I go to the beach at 6am every morning and train for surf life saving, i get the bus to work, hit the free gym with two lovely hot towel and a sauna and pool. Then home for a rest and dinner with the kids and spend 6 weeks a year overseas on holidays. I go to the snow, i scuba dive, ride motorbikes and much more. I'm glad i got my degree and wouldn't change it for the world.

People focus so much on you being harsh and don't listen to your message. Don't get in debt, don't waste time and money in college if you don't have to. Dream big, have a vision for your life, visualize what you want. Don't get sucked into trends like 300 handbags and buying tons of meaningless stuff. And of course, go vegan!
