I agree with the general message. Consumerism/capitalism dilute our humanity to the point of insanity. We are a population of drones, with little autonomy and only small pockets of resistance. However Freelea, I can't hear your intention over your sarcasm and distain. You seem boastful, aggressive and confrontational. When you present yourself this way, people turn off. They won't respond in the desired way if you shame them into change. With respect, I find this presentation lacking integrity.

This is sad: ( so many ppl are blind to the reality of the REAL price that's being paid by living this way. It's not spoken about, and when someone does speak up they're ridiculed. Treehuggers, hippies ect. I used to be blinded as well, but no more. It's time to change

I think she means it is better to practice prevention, like being vegan or fuitiarian who have rates of cancer, diabetes, heart attacks, and stroke far lower than regular flesh based lifestyle.

this was especially true during the early 2000s but now consumerism (in U. S. at least) is dying since nearly everyone is jobless and if you have a job you are barely making ends meet.
