Day 3: Freelee's personal exercise routine for a slim, healthy body cheryl: Hi Freelee, I know this video is older but I'm just getting to it now. I've been wanting to ask you a question and this is the perfect video to ask it on. I have a disability that prevents me from cycling or running. basically anything that can get my heartrate up. I sleep quite a lot and had previously been grossly over-prescribed medications totaling 26 different prescriptions. I have been reducing them myself and after years, am now down to 4, which leads me to believe that I never needed them to begin with. I've been watching you for a bit now and my question is that being that I can't get a lot of exercise, I also need to adjust my caloric intake from what you recommend. I'm genetically lean but lead a fairly sedentary lifestyle. How do I go about calculating how many calories for myself? I am horrified to gain weight because I can't just exercise it off. I'm pretty muscular, due to genetics and also previous to being ill, I worked out a ton. I can still do some things to work out and keep muscle mass but to get my heartrate up is difficult. I was put onto a diet, by a nutritionist, of 3500 calories/day but it was just way too much. I couldn't get it done. It just left me feeling depressed because all I was doing while awake was eating and it became such a huge chore and as I could never make the 3500 calories, I was left feeling as if I could not succeed. you shouldn't be depressed from eating. I'm super stoked to join your community but just have a few things to work out yet. YOU are such a great example of how changing your diet also changes your life. I'm so happy I found you Freelee, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!

Hi Freelee, my body craves salt and I get dizzy when I don't have enough due to having slightly lower blood pressure. I know the obvious thing to do would be to give it what it wants but at the same time I don't want to suffer the consequences of bloating and water retention that allowing more salt into my diet will cause. any suggestions? what about using mineral rich salts and cutting out the every day table salt as a solution? also I've heard hunger described as being the bodies need for vitamins, trace elements and mineral salts. so by using pink salt over potatoes for instance, it should appease my bodies requirements sooner thereby appeasing my hunger and completing the biochemical need. please advise further

It does take time, but some things work faster than others. I find that a combination of doing sprints at least 3 times a week and doing squats and similar butt exercises bump my fitness level the fastest. I have been exercising all my life, but light jogging and walking (even 10 miles) wasn't pushing me enough, hence I wasn't getting fitter. Sprinting is amazing for relatively quick fitness gains in less than 1 month. And squats work the largest muscles in the body- resistance training is a must but especially the muscles that are burning the most calories. That's what I find anyway.

Everyone needs to take what she says with a grain of salt (lol. She is not a health professional but a recovering drug addict who also suffered eating disorders. This is a diet that suits her after years of her body recovering. Obviously having this much sugar would be dangerous for some people. The best part about her lifestyle she claims that she doesn't train hard everyday but approx for at least 30 mins. Even though she is trying to make out she doesn't train hard (clearly she trains allot by what she is saying) it does show you don't have to do it hard to maintain a desired weight.

1) How much fat is 'low fat'? As in, what % of calories come from fat? 2)Also, is this a good lifestyle to follow if you're recovering from orthorexia/anorexia as you would still be eating a diet where you are restricting yourself from cake and nuts, avocados, flaxseed and cheese. etc?
3) Last question, where do you get your omega 3 and omega 6 if you eat a diet extremely low in any kind of fat?
I'm not criticizing as I highly admire your lifestyle - I'm purely asking out of curiosity in order to be fully informed about it!
You inspire so many people so thank you for that!

Girl, your dude in this video was so annoying. Maybe I have no sense of humor, but telling me that other people are better than me for no reason & not even in a joking manner would piss me off. But maybe you're more tolerant of bs than me. I'm glad you have a new guy, he's soooo much better. Lol

Vegans like you two make me glad I'm not one. Fat shaming is a not going to help those who are overweight help themselves. obviously they know. Encourage healthy habbits. don't just assume everyone who eats meat is fat. Very disappointed with this video. Thanks.

Can someone answer this question for me, how can you eat unlimited calories with vegan foods and lose weight without being in a calorie deficit. If you are eating more than you need how will your body get rid of the unwanted fat stores already there?
