Nature in her infinite wisdom also designed women to bleed every month and experience uncomfortable (and often painful) symptoms due to hormonal shifts that are extremely inefficient. Nature did not take our comfort and convenience into consideration when creating all the intricacies of human anatomy and physiology. Nature is not some benevolent being who paid careful attention to each and every facet of human design to ensure that all the cogs in our clockwork operate at optimal conditions. Nature is chaotic. If nature were really so concerned with efficiency then there would be no disease, disorder, defect, or natural disaster. The argument that nature is not only intelligent but also so deeply concerned with trivial aspects of our daily lives such as the case of one's thighs touching is so ludicrous and pathetic that it is beneath contempt.

Freelee, you are being honest and people don't like it because it is easier to blame something that is out of their control, then they can feel better without doing what is necessary. To back up your point, if it were simply bone structure then why are there no overweight women with thigh gap. The answer is because excess fat is what causes you to lose the gap. Having extra weight in your thighs or for men around the belly is unhealthy. I struggle with body fat but I don't try to pretend it isn't a problem. I hate how our culture beats up honest people like yourself because they are too weak to face their own imperfections or too lazy to do something about it. I respect you having the courage to speak honestly and I apologize for the ignorance you have to put up with.

I don't have a thigh gap and never have I had a problem with blistering or injury. That is completely ridiculous. I workout daily and strength train very regularly. My legs are mostly muscle and I love them that way. My waist is also very small compared to lower body. In fact If I lost anymore weight I would be way too thin in the waist. Not everyone is made to have a thigh gap. I have tried numerous things to get my thighs to shrink and yes they would get smaller, but they're wad never a gap there. When if I ally started weigh training it changed my whole view on a what a healthy body is. I like the way my body looks now more than ever because I have nice muscle tone and most importantly I FEEL GOOD ABOUT MYSELF.

Anyone who says EVERYONE is capable having a thigh gap is woefully ignorant of basic anatomy. That is not a solely determined by your weight, but by the placement of your hip and thigh bones. There are many very slim women I run with who do not have a thigh gap and never will. At my lower weights I do have a thigh gap. it's not because of some super fantastic diet plan I'm following but because of the way I'm built. As a matter of fact, the way my hips are shaped and the way my bones and hip bones are positioned often causes me pain which I have to manage on a day-to-day basis. Freelee i'm glad you fund a diet plan that works for you but you don't seem to promote health as much as you do yourself.

I have a history with anorexia too, and the only time i have had a thigh gap was when i was medically and physically unhealthy. Whenever I'm not medically underweight (according to BMI; when I'm above 18. 5, I don't have a thigh gap. And when i get to my healthy weight, I do not have a thigh gap. As of now I'm at a healthy weight. I am vegan. I am lean. And when i walk my thighs don't rub together, but when i put my feet together, my thighs definitely touch! They always have (when I'm at a healthy weight, and they most likely always will. And i don't really get why i need a thigh gap anymore

Here's the thing though, not all women can have a thigh gap. It depends on body structure and genetics. I have a hour glass figure, my waist is small, my hips are quite large and so are my thighs. I need larger thighs so that they can support the weight of my hips and bus (and all natural upper body fat) So to say that all women can get a thigh gap is actually extremely incorrect and you may be helping some women develop body image issues and eating disorders by telling them to work for something that is impossible to achieve for their body type and structure.

i've never injured myself from having my beautiful natural thick thighs and i think having a thigh gap is no big deal. being really skinny is ok as long as you're not starving and being not so skinny is ok too. wow you're pretty ignorant. also, what does this culture have to do with it? genetics are far more diverse than you know obviously. my thighs are gonna continue to touch and i'm gonna continue to not care one bit

It's sad that one day because of this video, you will be a direct result in someones death. Even over 2 years later this video is still up and you haven't made a video to recant your claim. Maybe most can get a thigh gap but to claim all can, when some women/men, especially impressionable young people will never be able to achieve one, is a dangerous claim you've made.

If I have wide hips that aren't narrow at all, will I have a thigh gap at my lowest healthy weight? I don't have a thigh gap because my thighs are fat, and I need to lose weight in them, but I get a really nice thigh gap when I wear tight pants, such as skinny jeans. My aunt has narrow hips, but she has a thigh gap, so I should be able to get one too!
