Is it HEALTHY to have Obese role models? Tess Munster Spinelli: I think she is more about self love, I think that it is a wonderful things to love yourself no matter your size, but if you eat healthy and exercise then your body will adjust and become healthier. Some people have higher metabolisms and some have lower metabolisms over all people will be at different weights and many different shapes and sizes, Yes Tess is at an unnatural weight, I believe a plant based lifestyle and exercise of some kind would be wonderful: ) Self love is wonderful, Tess is a wonderful girl and she has a beautiful message, Not all plus size people are unhealthy, but tess is at an unhealthy weight I can agree with that. Im a big girl, I was a vegetarian for 6 months and I have now been vegan for 2 months now and have been following a work out schedule ( Daily yoga twice a day and walking its literally that simple) And have lost a good amount of weight, I feel beautiful and I love myself and I will no matter the size but it is because I love myself that I take care of myself

I am simply putting out my personal opinion, I am not hating of freelee but neither taking her side.
Vegans are proven to have lower chances of obesity and heart problem, I am an omnivore but I maintain a healthy diet of organic fruits, vegetables, meat, and dairy products I only buy cage free eggs, pesticide free fruits and vegetables, and cruelty free meat. Usually the only people who are obese and have health problems are ones that dont excersize and eat processed foods or because its a genetic disorder or something else. But I feel that going vegan can be a little too far, it is natural for animals to eat other animals, but if you feel that going vegan or vegetarian is best for you then be my guest.

I think that obese models do great at helping people feel good about themselves, but I also believe that if you are so obese that you have health problems, you need to get help, you need to lose weight and be healthy again. It's okay, you shouldn't feel ashamed, but you need to be able to control your health, because showing that to other people might make them feel like it's okay to be morbidly obese

I went vegetarian about 8 months ago. I may eventually go vegan, but not anytime soon. I wasn't overweight to begin with, but I ended up losing 10 lbs. After about a month of being vegetarian, I noticed that my skin started to have less breakouts (my skin was pretty clear to begin with) and had more energy throughout the day; so I cut down on coffee. I don't drink nearly as much.

What would you say about glitterandlazers? She has lipedema, as do so many others. She is considered morbidly obese, but she maintains a healthy diet and works out quite regularly. Check out her Instagram if you can! Shes really amazing, and proof that healthy is possible at any size. She cant control her bodys decision to store excess fat, as this is what lipedema is.

It's actually scary, I recently watched a documentary with some footage from like the 1940s and I couldn't help but notice almost everyone looked to be a very healthy, normal weight. When I look around me now, I'd say at least 60 % of people I see are overweight. It scares me, this is not in any way normal or healthy.

Complete truth in this video. But to be fair, obese people still need clothes just like skinny people. And plus size people may also want to be able to wear runway clothes/high fashion stuff and may be trying to make the change

If anorexia is a problem, then so is obesity. You can be plus sized but not obese. It does create a lot of health problems and it isn't easy to lose weight in a short time if you suddenly get sick or something: (

Some people can't see the difference between a little chubby (yes, you can be totally healthy even if your stomach is not flat) and this - which is morbidly obese. When you are at the BMI of 50, you are not healthy.
