Being a vegan is fine. but it's actually more expensive to be a full vegan than an omnivore simply due to the way we produce food. While I do agree with some of your points, it's a lot more complex than that. And not everyone thrives on a vegan diet. I did fine (which is why I'm planning to stick with it better this time, but my brother saw horrible results. We were eating the same things (although he naturally ate more of it. He does better with meat in his diet, and we verified that with our own results. Even the agricultural societies of the past had meat in them (although not to the extent we do now. To deny meat to people would be just as oppressive and blind sighted, not to mention, ignorant of all of the different roots and cultures with different methods of preparing food.

Why get a big house/lifetime mortgage and a fancy sports car when you can't pay it off and can't work the house?
