I met Trisha Paytas and Shane Dawson, aaaaand we filmed some videos. Trisha's channel: Shane's video: Caroline: I have to admit, when I first did this diet, it was because I wanted to lose weight. I was eating terribly, but I'm young, so I didn't care, I thought it was typical teenage eating, and it was okay because my metabolism was generally fast. What I didn't know a year ago was that my metabolism, and my gut in general, was so incredibly harmed because of years of a gluten allergy I didn't know I had. What I thought was high metabolism was actually a leaky gut and IBS resulting from putting an allergen into my body multiple times a day. I came to the vegan lifestyle after another year of major health issues, and I wasn't even considered obese, I was normal, but I wanted that vegan body, and I wanted to be healthy so I switched. I first was scared because I saw I already had a bit of fat on my body, but I was also beginning to gain extra, and I was so confused because I was eating absolutely no processed foods, all healthy foods, ones I had never previously supplied my body with. It was seldom I would even eat a piece of fruit in a week before this lifestyle, and now I'm filling myself everyday with 4 servings. So I thought I must've been doing something wrong, but it was simply my gut repairing itself, and returning my metabolism back to normal. I now am finding myself starting to shed more and more weight, and I feel absolutely fantastic. Experts will tell you that you will go through a withdrawal period when you cut out all of those processed, hormone-filled foods, and the same thing happened to me with gluten as well, but once my system repaired itself, I felt incredible. To anyone skeptical, or looking into this diet to improve any autoimmune or chronic illnesses, PLEASE DO IT. Go watch the tons of other YouTubers and public figures who made the switch, go listen to all of the doctors who swear by its healing properties, educate yourself, and do as Freelee said and trust the process! I wish I could go personally thank every vegan I know who, in some way, persuaded me to this point, I am overwhelmed with joy, and happiness I never had while on a Standard American Diet.

Is she crazy? Carbohydrates are known to be the culprit to making people fat. Theyre simple sugars that raise your insulin levels insanely high in a short amount of time and store glucose in the body, making you gain weight very quickly, and also making you hungry again much sooner. And so the cycle continues. Fats keep you feeling full much longer and so you end up eating less.

I'm not a vegan but I'm seriously considering it. I like trish and Shane and their videos made me come over and give her a chance. I suggest people watch forks over knives if your into conspiracies and government it's really interesting and scary how they shove meat down our throats and it's the biggest polluter but it's swept under the rug. Interesting!

I've been starving myself and making excuses for it. But I'm tired, it feeds my depression and my body's always cold or in pain. Yes I lost over 50 pounds! But if I start to eat like a regular human being it will all jump back. Don't starve yourself for beauty. You get stuck in a circle that is hard to break out of.

I never thought about it like that. I have fat and not I AM fat. I just started plant based diet. It's tough because I was cooking meat dishes for my family. I now cook transitional vegan food so there is plant fat (nuts. I don't know if I'll lies weight but I feel lighter overall without meat.

Okay. i'm underweight and I eat as much fat as my mother and father combined. Why am I not Fat freelee? Answer me that. (I only eat healthy fat like avocados, coconut oil, ghee, nuts, seeds) But still I eat so much fat it seems like I should be 400 pounds by now according to freelee

I am an overweight vegan. I eat mostly fruits, tho I sometimes have pasta or oatmeal. I exercise regularly, drink lots of water, and get plenty of sleep. The doctors are looking into if my medication or a thyroid condition could be causing it, but we do exist.

I adore your passion for veganism and the environment as I am a vegan myself but having watched quite a few of your videos I feel as if you shouldn't be so judgmental and negative about other peoples lifestyles and eating.

What if someone has only just gone Vegan and they're fat? You can be fat and be Vegan, I HATE you online Vegans. I know plenty of Vegans who come in my gym and they are awesome people, you online Vegans are UP YOUR SELF.

I don't understand why people hate you? I mean, you're just trying to help people. I can't stress enough how much I agree with you on saving animals, and leading people in the right direction with their diets.
