I've been struggling with anorexia for the past year and now I'm finally getting some professional help. But of course they want me to go back to eating diary and meat. My parents on the other hand really gets that I wanna stay vegan, but are desperate to help me gain some weight, and so they want me to eat a lot of oil, nuts, nutbutters and so on.
My question is, is it possible to gain weight on a HCLF vegan diet? And HOW MUCH do I have to eat in that case? (I'm 180cm and my weight is about 56 kg, BMI= under 18) It's really hard for me to know when I'm hungry and satisfied since my belly is all messed up from the eationg disorder.
I know HCLF vegan is the food I feel the best when eating but both my parents and the doctor says I have to increase the amount of fat that I'm eating to gain weight.
What do you think? Should I focus on getting more plant based fats into my body?

Thank you so much for showing the rain in the Gold Coast- I love tropical rain- there is almost nothing more beautiful! Also, I didn't know that you could get Asian style toilet adjusters (squatty potty! I thought the toilets in Asia were far superior, so I am definitely getting one of these! how does she leave all her windows and doors open in Australia? i dont even live anywhere tropical and if i leave one window open there would be so many bugs and things in my house so fast lol
