Honest question: I was told by my doctor that the brain needs fat to coat the myelin sheaths of nerve cells to work properly/ be able to send proper signals. According to her, the brain is mainly made up of fat and therefore needs that for proper repair and function. Wouldn't that make low fat high carb bad for brain health? Also, don't such high amounts of simple sugars from fruit cause massive insulin spikes which will overly strain the pancreas and lead to diabetes? I remember reading that repeated spikes in blood sugar can lead to insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. Also, what about protein? It's not really mentioned at all, but it's an important building block for the body, not to mention that it is the main building factor in muscles. Does a high carb low fat diet include protein? I am not trying to incite or offend someone, I am just curious as to what makes this a healthy lifestyle, due to the restriction of calories and certain nutrients. Thanks for reading all this. :)

Did you know that everything that ever lived or grown is Organic? Potatoes without the organic green label are also organic, just way cheeper. The difference is Bio. Bio has to be grown special way. The soils has to be fertilise with organic material, so cow manure for example, and you cannot use fertilisers made out of oil. That's a law here in Europe, every Bio product has to be grown naturally without artificial material. When you buy Organic products, not Bio, you just know they were made using artificial additives and couldn't be labeled Bio.
