Alexis Ren is now on Youtube. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Is she going to be an empowering positive example for young women around the world? Has she overcome her food struggles? This was a highly requested video so make sure you tune in. Alex: Great video! I've been doing more and more research on veganism. I went vegetarian two years ago to help with my chronic knee pain. But now, I feel like its time for me to take it to the next level and completely heal my body through a healthy vegan lifestyle. I've been binge watching your videos lately for tips and inspiration.

Im vegan, and Im not a huge fan of freelee, but she makes some good points sometimes.
Anyways, I dont like how she acts like you have to be vegan to be healthy. Now, she doesnt necessarily say that, but its kind of implied.
I was healthy when I ate meat, and Im still really healthy now that Im vegan.
It would have been useless for me to go vegan for my health.
I did it to minimize my harm on animals and to lower my impact on the environment.
Well anyways, being vegan is probably one of the best decisions I have ever made, but there is so much more I could do to help this world.
Im chasing after my dreams in order to do that.
I dont try to convert others to veganism though because Ill just come off as annoying, and well I think everyone has the right to their own diet preferences(except cannibalism.
One quote I read was
Be the vegan you wanted to meet even when you werent vegan.

But when her 'modelling career' or whatever is over and she wants to get a real job the employers will look at her Facebook and Instagram and Twitter and trust me they won't think so positively. Also I would rather have one amazing, cute and funny guy call me beautiful than 12-50 year old perverts on the internet call me hot have some self respect like I get posting a picture in a crop top and leggings but like basically naked and just covering some parts is very low and it doesn't show confidence it shows attention seeking because she admitted she was shy and didn't have friends and because she didn't get attention when she was a child she wants it now she's to obsessed with her body like idk post something insparatianol like qoutes or your story about your ED if you had one it's not all about the outside

I totally get what you're points are in this video. I think some of your comments throughout this video are great. I will say, she is a model and her page is clearly to boost her career as a model (which is, as you say, is about the flesh. from being in the industry, that truly is what it is in front of the camera, maybe not behind. she may not want to give the rest of her world what some other you tubers and instagrammers are expected to now. And while she wasn't open about her ED for a while (maybe at first she did not realize until it got out of her control. which I think happens to many, she did openly say she had been struggling with one before you posted this video. :) but thank you for bringing awareness to the issue of ED and the power of social media though! :)

This is actually so much bull shit, Alexis ren is a beautiful human being and if she is happy in the way she lives her life then that is great. You make it seem like shes posing on YouTube/instagram but SHE IS A MODEL THATS HER JOB and theres nothing wrong with that!
On a side note, you make it seem like if people with an eating disorder will recover by going vegan, however that is not the case. Going vegan is not a way to recover from a eating disorder, recovery comes from wanting to recover!
Calling people out on not being vegan is bull shit and its rude. I have nothing against veganism, if you are vegan and that makes you happy then thats great however people find happiness and so many different things so let people live their lifes however they want.

Hi Freelee! I love your videos, I have a question about being vegan. Ive done extensive research and its been proven that vegetable based lifestyles arent necessarily better for the environment. For example, some vegetables are bitter before cooked because of their natural defense mechanism and another example is that lots of vegetables require more resources per calorie than meat products. I personally am an ovo-lacto vegetarian and I choose not to eat meat because of how poorly these animals are treated. I havent cut out dairy because of convenience but yeah haha. Let me know what your opinion is on the vegetarian based diet facts!

My 19 year old Uncle, had a eating disorder. He was sent to this hospital thing and basically when he would eat he would vomit the food out after bc in his mind he thought he was SUPER fat. But it reality he was a stick. So when he went that hospital he could only eat certain food and when he had to go to the restroom, he would have to leave the door open a little for the nurse to know he's going to the restroom and not vomiting. SO, if you have an eating disorder similar, I would get try methods to help stop that bc my uncle said it was the worst experience in his life.

Alexis is just desperate for attention. What I want to know is how is her mind? What can she offer? She is so vain, and I was never able to follow her because I'm thin, always have been but looking at Alexis' pics all the time makes me so self conscious and I become unhappy with myself. It's girls like Alexis who are creating a toxic mentality on social media for girls. her videos are boring and dry as hell because all she feels she's worth is her body

Ok so fyi ED's don't always change the appearance of your body, just because she looks the same doesn't mean she still has an ED or needs to be pressured by other strangers on the internet to share about her food intake. Food is extremely personal to so many people, and being susceptible to an ED makes it a million times more difficult. Leave her alone!

I dont think you care about constructive criticism you just care about showing your body as an excuse to become vegan instead of saying it will be good for your health and we you say it you say it in such a negative and agresiva way. It makes people think all vegans are as rude and close minded as you are
