We visited Ecuador a couple of years ago thinking we might want to retire early there and live like kings on our savings and income. Beautiful country, perfect climate. But it was hard to imagine what I would do each day. Simple life, admiring the fruits and vegetables I bought or marveling at the poverty and manana culture convinced me to work a couple more years and retire here in USA. Also, bars on every windows, petty crime, stray dogs everywhere. Otherwise, the land and climate is paradise. Not hating on Ecuador, just wasnt a place I would want to live.

When did you move back to Australia? Hahaha girlfriend I swear I thought you were still in Ecuador and then I heard you were in Australia! Either way, you and Robin are such inspirations and I pray one day I have the strength to make the important decisions to make my life the best for the animals and for me! You are AMAZING!

I have so much family from Ecuador that get papers to live in the U. S. I dont know why anyone would want to leave a place like that to live here.
