You can do what you do on tic toc on alot of other platforms. The reason for the ban and the threat tic toc is, is the Chinese government takes any and all information gathered by tic toc. This is because of the type of government they have. So essentially it's seen as a homeland information leak to a country that we don't have the best of relations with at the moment. And for the argument that US social media takes our info too, yes they do. But firstly the popular apps here are American so the companies may exploit information for marketing, but they aren't gonna sell it out to other countries. Secondly our government has to jump through many hoops and public resistance to get information from these companies. So yeah screw tic toc, everyone was fine before it was around they will be fine when it's gone.

So these kids are fine with selling their privacy to China while opposing government dictating their freedom to express themselves.
Let s cross check this statement for a bit. USA is a country that upholds freedom of speech since 1896. China Communist party always silence anyone who express themselves freely using censorship, arrest without reason, and put in jail and force confession.
Selling tiktok to USA is actually a very gentle way to kept USA partly in control of tiktok while still allowing users to have genuine freedom.
In conclusion, these children don t know what they are talking about.

The NYT s people are idiots. Why would you want to give the CCP access to and potential control of our phones. Tik Toc s parent company is controlled and beholding to the CCP and their military. Once that software is installed on America s phones, I. e. police, fire, government employees, military, people who run our utilities etc etc etc they can embed any code they choose. Should they choose, they could destroy all that communication. Should they choose, they can send any message and make it look official. People are truly idiots, and the NYT should hire smarted people. or shut up.

No it's the government protecting you from a Communist Government. Just cuz you havent been taught about the millions that have been slaughtered in the name of Communisim doesnt mean it didnt happen, and to think it could not happen in this country is intellectually dishonest at this point. Just look around at your major citites burning and the lack of INDEPENDANT art and music and sports players stepping up to be ur False Idol. Burning Books up next. BTW one cannot register others to Vote you can help them fill out their voter registration.

Apple literally exposed it with iOS 14 Beta. It collects an absurd amount of user data and funnels it back to China. They're literally doing personal tracking on all users and know things like:
What you have copied to paste later
Where you are exactly
Your name
Your phone's name, serial number
And so much more. It's an actual security threat. I'm not really for big orange man, but this is the right call. It's sad that a chick who posts on tiktok about cybersecurity doesn't understand that

Is this what the world has come to? People are all upset about something from the phone being talked about badly & all that. People love it & the government or whoever doesn't. It's been on different news lines & all. What has happen? Grow up ya'll! Think that you are still alive from the coronavirus that is still going on & a lot of other stuff that has been going on in the world. New phones are taking people away from the rest that's out there.

Trump KNOWS the sh! t you do not know because he is briefed on it by professional tech people from federal agencies paid to monitor and advise. He knows security breach stuff regular guys on the street do not know, stuff pre-teens and their parents do not know, stuff app users who carelessly download do not know.
Nothing is free. Everything offered as free comes at a price
If Trump put his foot down I'm confident it's for a good reason.

Goodness, what a drama over a time killer app at best and an argument to gonna quit studying bc working on my content making career at worst. Social media apps will never stop sprouting, tic-tac is not even one of the creative ones as long as there are sponsors. And they think they are above the masses, cute.
