A couple running a convenience store arent as friendly as they might seem in this scene from The Hunt, the horror satire from Craig Zobel that is finally in theaters after a much-discussed postponement. Amy Madigan and Reed Birney play Ma and Pop, two gas station owners who have just, um, taken care of, a few customers. But their latest visitor, Crystal (Betty Gilpin, may be a bit of a tough sell. In this scene, the director Craig Zobel discusses how he wanted to introduce more satire into a film that, by this point, has been more action-oriented. This moment brings a bit of comic relief, while helping the audience understand a little better why the hunted are being hunted. Read the review here:

I liked this clip for its smart fast scene and fight choreography. Different from other scenes that are a bit too gory. As for me, one doesn't have to be a liberal or republican to admire this scene. I hate political dialogues in a movie. And this reminds me, I would like to direct a godfather movie with this same tempo along with some Shakespeare's verses thrown in for good measure. To make it a classic, of course.
