Ice-cream trucks during a highly transmissible virus pandemic endanger children by encouraging them to congregate, touch gloved hands that quite possibly weren't sanitized after touching the previous customer's hand and cash.
Parents that don't supervise their children to protect them from unscruplous businesses are culpable when/if their children become ill.
Will the NY Times reporter follow-up the customers' health conditions 14 days to six weeks from the date of filming? Will the children be tested to see if they are asymptomatic transmitters of the virus?
Everyone needs to be alert to discern false advertising that promotes the false notion of alleged safety from SARS-Cov-2.
Ice cream can be purchased at the grocery store for now. Mr. Robinson, you, too are in danger of being infected by your customers who may not show any symptoms.
Best regards.

Yes, everyone knows you will LITERALLY die if you dont get your chocolate ice cream, who cares if youre putting other ppl at risk. Gotta have that ice cream. (It creates a false sense of security, and endangers people who have weakened immune systems, the virus is still active, people are still dying, its not going down. All of us want to go back to normal but doing stuff like this, non-essential services, put more people at risk, will cause more people to NEEDLESSLY die, and will overall just bring even more sadness. Think long term, not short)

Hi everyone I produced this video. It was an absolute joy to chase down the ice cream man only to find a wonderful story. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments or want to share your favorite ice cream truck treat. (mine is obviously chocolate dip)

Yes, the ice cream man is essential, especially the gentleman driving this truck. It's everything. He's doing so much good for so many people by coming into their neighborhoods and giving everyone a brief sense of normalcy. He's brave and generous.

Who can dislike this report? It is a dignified account of how a hardworking person brings joy to people affected by the pandemic. This man is a testament to the human spirit and an example of how one person makes a difference.

Real, soft serve, and fresh ice cream fresh on a cone tastes FAR BETTER than any medicine people have to put in your mouth and swallow & are being given (or dumb enough to believe the president that it works) for the coronavirus.

I don't care if it's NYC or Timbuktu, ice cream is essential, therefore ice cream trucks are essential. I don't even need to watch the video to know that. Looks like they got a good plan in place anyway.

Ice cream trucks are essential but only to Nancy Pelosi. Ohh wait she doesnt need trucks, she has helpers who stock her larger freezers with more ice cream than shell ever eat.

Make sure your treat truck, maintains his, her truck & ice cream machines? These machines breed a lot of nasty bacteria! . Better safe. than sorry!
