As you know, there is a great deal of distrust about vaccines and this has pitted parents against parents, parents against doctors, and now parents against the government. Where did this distrust come from? How do we make progress on this issue to ensure maximum protection for everyones children? Distrust comes from the fact that parents watch their perfectly healthy, well developing children regress into autism shortly after vaccination. Why would they trust big pharma, who has no liability, saying vaccines are safe? Why would parents trust the FDA, NIH, and CDC who are dis-incentivized to insure vaccine safety because the pharmaceutical companies have no liability and the FDA, CDC, and NIH employees regularly go on to big fat salaries in pharmaceutical companies? How do we make progress? Make the pharma companies liable in civil court for vaccine injuries and vaccines will become safe and targeted towards truly life threatening diseases. Allow each parent to choose whether or not and how much to vaccinate their children. Parents of immune compromised children will have to take steps to protect their own children. I had to do this with my son, which I did; I certainly did not demand that the world around me force-vaccinate their children because I would not do the work to protect my son.

IMO. The Electoral College is the reason why many people don't vote. If you're in a state that always goes Red or Blue, people feel there vote doesn't matter. My daughter and son-in-law have never voted for that reason. They don't understand the power that every individual has. If enough people of like mind, who feel their vote doesn't count, actually went out and voted, the outcome could be different. That's how change is always worked. Enough people standing up and making their opinions known = the possibility to change the world. No matter what side you're on, remember in 2020 that your seemingly insignificant vote is important, because it is combined with all the other people, who felt the same way, but voted differently. I think it's important to remind people that states can flip colors after decades of being blue or red. Look at Texas and California very influential prime examples. So vote in all elections, if you really want to change the world

The problem isnt that people cant afford it, its the fact that he is trying milk as much money as possible with shitty ass rewards. The goodie bag is given to him for free, so the main thing about the Sister VIP is that you get to hang out with him? Thats how he how calculates his price? You got to hang out and go to an after with Marshmello for only 250. See what Im saying? James Charles thinks hes the big shit but he isnt. Youtubers reaaaaallllyyyyy need to stop acting and thinking their the shit, do they realize that the majority of people who praise them every 5 seconds are really young people and impressionable people? Anyway, I cant expect him to be humble since hes the person who puts 6+ ads on 20 minutes long video (Ive seen creators only putting 4 ads for 20 mins, 6+ if the video is 35+ mins, makes sense to me, theres no need for me to skip 8 ads when Im only watching 18 mins of a video oh wait he excuses it by saying I know my worth.

I think Phillip spoke about the James issue pretty well. It's just supply and demand and how the market works, but many people don't understand that. People are blaming James for not letting everybody meet him, but that's not his fault. It's just not possible. Not everyone can afford VIP literally the point of VIP tickets is so that the few people who CAN afford it can do it. He can't meet everyone. I think he should have made the price way less (because the demand isn't that high, but the people saying he's a scammer are so wrong. People are saying he's stealing your 500, when it's 100% up to the consumer on if they want to spend that money. If you love him so much that you want to pay it, there's nothing wrong with that. It's not like he's false marketing. People are blowing this way out of proportion. If you don't think the price is worth it, just don't buy it and move on. The prices will probably drop if nobody's buying them.

Please please please vaccinate your children It doesn't only protect your children but everyone elseMy dad almost died from measles at ten years old, way before the vaccines were pretty much routine in the UK. He was deathly sick and my granny describes it as one of the most horrible thing to see your young child go through - and she was a nurse Also, if I wasn't vaccinated when I was a baby, four years ago I could have died if I come in contact with a carrier or a sufferer while going through a already life-threatening illness (encephalitis. It's deadly to older people and those with other illnesses, who may not be able to have the vaccine themselves for medical reasons. Help protect these people and your children from deadly diseases with common sense by getting vaccinated

ehh yeah i dont really care if he wants to charge that much money for dumb things. its his loss if nobody shows up. and if that does happen then he will hopefully learn from the experience. nobody is perfect and sure charging a lot doesnt look too good on you we all know what money means to us. and i could understand that a lot of the expenses ARE there so he will be wanting to make an extra profit for himself. to me it sounds more like he got himself into some bad contracts letting them take more money than he shouldve. so like a haggler he raised the price to see the profit he was originally looking for. either way tho it is what it is. business. and if he fails thats on him. no need to grill him further on it tho really. just give your opinion and move on.

The James Charles thing isnt about him giving out something for free and people being used to it so being shocked when they have to pay. People were willing to pay, however the price tags overall are a little insane and a tad bit shady especially giving that most of his audience is underaged. And as you have said, he is allowed to put what ever price he wants and if people dont find it ok, the tour will suffer, we are already seeing that in the backlash to the pricing. Him having the right put random price tags on his event doesnt somehow exlude him from being criticized for overpricing something and then trying to justify it cause venues and teams are expensive, yes they are, but other people have been doing it for years and managed lower prices.

In reference to Phil's comments about James Charles' ticket prices, I'm getting tired of the classic conservative argument of the market will correct itself. If Charles exclusively sold his venue tickets through an auction system then I'd completely understand if VIP prices reached 500. But he's dictating those prices ahead of the event, and he's clearly not basing it on the market because other YouTubers (yourself included) charged about six times less for comparable venues. No one expects every entertainer to have the same ticket prices (that's why concert tickets fluctuate so much) but it's plain greed to charge so much money, especially if you're doing the tour for fun. Clearly Charles knows exactly what he's doing to his fans.

I 100% agree with the argument of market prices. There can only be X number of meet and greets for a single stop on a tour, if those tickets are sold out, then the market decided that 500 is an acceptable price. as a parent you do not owe your child this experience, but at the same time not everyone is OWED this experience. There will (hopefully) be another opportunity for a fan to meet this person, even if it is at a signing event to meet their hero. This can also be used as a learning experience. tell your child that if you worked at a job for X hours you could EARN the opportunity to gain what you want to meet this person. or as a parent / guardian you can always just say no.
