This speaks to me on so many levels. My mothers cousin, my 2nd cousin disappeared when she was 18 in fort Lauderdale Florida. Michelle Mulcahy. It was possibly 1977 or 1978 (my mind isn't functioning correctly after watching this. I'm sobbing, shes on the missing persons list. She apparently got into a black car never to be seen or heard from again. When I was born, I was named after her. Born the same day. This drives me to find out what happened. How can a person just disappear? People know more and I've always tried to find out any more information that I could. Your mom would be proud, your family is proud of you. You never stopped. Such courage and perseverance. I have so much respect for you.

My sister died in 2017 of cancer after enduring 7years of a very painful marriage leaving behind two beautiful kids of Four and five who were her world.
Their dad is long remarried and I live with the constant fear that they will never remember her and worse still never know her for the awesome and strong woman that she was especially because we (her family) do not have access to the kids.
Seeing this video of the strength and courage exhibited in her quest for justice by a daughter who was only 4 when her mum died warms my heart.

Her mama seemed like a beautiful and lovely lady that made some bad choices as we all do young, hers were just stronger and eventually unrecoverable. Does not make her less beautiful.
I wish her daughter peace. I have a few friends taken by a cruel system and I literally cried whole heartedly for this courageous woman who fought so hard for the truth.

A good friend of my mom's grandma was raped & murdered over 60 years ago &, sadly, it's still a cold case. I really hope her family is able to get answers as well someday. I can't imagine the pain.

strangling someone is so barbaric. her wanting to find the murderer to try and prevent them from doing it to others is really selfless. from watching a lot of true crime, it seems that the victims wait around or eventually accept and try to move on. she's so strong for never giving up even after so long.

What a story! This woman never gave up and it's sad she had to stay on the detectives and whoever else to get the cold case team put together. That seems like every city should have a cold case team. Thankfully she worked her butt off and helped find her moms killer. She's one amazing woman!

What an amazing woman. If not for her that slime would have still been walking the streets hurting or killing more innocent woman because he was to chicken to go after men his own size. I hope he suffers every day in prison until the day he goes to rot in hell!
