My tattoo addiction left me blind - hooked on the look

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
A 26-YEAR OLD who is so obsessed with tattoos that they decided to tattoo their eyeballs pink, has been left with permanent damage to their eyes. Despite this, the tattoo fan has no regrets and is ready to get more ink. Sarah Sabbath from El Paso, Texas got her first tattoo aged just 14, but by her early 20s she was covered from head to toe in ink. Sarah, who was bullied at school for her bushy eyebrows and crooked teeth, says she feels more herself now than she ever did without tattoos and attributes each tattoo that she has had as a step along her passage in self discovery. Not everyone is a fan of her look and some have made the assumption that Sarah is a criminal or doesn-t have an education because of her tattoos. However, Sarah is unfazed by them. She says: -My tattoos are my way of life and I-ll never stop getting them

-Ppl on the street look at me like I am going to steal from them. Think I am a criminal. I can't judge them for thinking the way they do. I do not judge them for judging me-
Nope. You assume ppl think you are some tough criminal gangster, but that's not what they think. Most ppl just think you have mental problems. They are more likely right than you judging them.

She-s so gorgeous and her tattoos look beautiful! Personally I find the black one on the face to be a little distracting when all the others fit so well but it-s how she wants to look so more power to her! Such a cool down to earth person, great perspective on life an people, she is a work of art and seems so wise too!

Eventually there are going to be skin problems with all of these double and triple layered tattoos. It can actually damage the skin producing cells and DNA. Inked skin is unhealthy and does not age as well as natural skin. And it doesn-t feel the same either. A Risk and trade off that people are willing to make.

If you have a full body suit and face tattoos I don't immediately think criminal (unless they look like prison tats) I think the person had a lot of trauma in childhood. Heavy physical and/or seuxal abuse and the person dealt with it by getting tattoos instead of therapy etc.

Wow, she was so pretty. It-s sad because it-s all good when you-re young and cute, but this look on an old lady will not be so great. I see a lot of regrets when these people get older, amongst other things.

I always wonder if they will regret in 30s and 40s and 50s etc to now have no space for new tattoos. Totes should save some space. I not sure why so many 20 year Olds want the entire area covered already

I have zero problem with tons of tattoos but that visual stigma will always be there people with always think jail, theft etc which sucks but like it-s just reality

I like all, except the eyes tattoos and over piercings and large many holes through the body. Things could get unhealthy and risky. But overall. looks really nice.

Gross. Imagine what she-ll look like when she gets old. With her looking like that, probably the only employer who would hire her is a tattoo parlor.

The tat I really don-t get is entire lower half of left leg pure black ink. Do they just plan on inking over it or is it mean to be like that.

My half sleeve alone cost $1250, l; there's no way she only spent 4K, unless she included some -me love you long time- speciality payments -

I do have tattoos and i love -em (1 on my right arm and 1 on my nape) but i-m not going to let my self end up covered by tattoos
reply

I'm sorry I love tattoos and body art but I completely do not understand covering every single inch of your body. it's weird
reply

Good for her for being herself. And good for us in the corporate world who have one less job competitor. Win, win.
reply

She only spend that much on tattoos? One of my big tattoos alone was almost a grand and I only have a few.
reply

$4, 000 on tattoos? um. this is not how prices usually are people this would barely get u a sleeve usually
reply

no offense but. why would become partially blind make you a better person, and why would you not regret it?
reply

why oh why do people want to risk their eye sight to follow fashion that's in today and goes out tommorow
