'swamp witch' to basic - what will my best friend think? - transformed

A HEAVILY modified tattoo artist is going back to basics. Becky Buczek, 29, from Cornwall, UK, first got into alternative fashion when she was 11 years old and her look has evolved ever since. Becky has been referred to as a -swamp witch- in her local area and describes her look as -swampy, crusty goth with a bit of glam-. Becky-s tattoos cover between 50% to 70% of her body, she has 15 piercings as well as stretched ears to 50mm. So how will she feel about getting her tattoos covered and piercings out? How will she react to a -basic- look? Becky told Truly: -I-d describe a basic look as maybe lots of colour patterns, beige knitwear, blue jeans, just all things that I would avoid. I'd rather people be staring at me for being a weirdo than being unseen

She looks like a: soccer mum-. I must say that she has a beautiful face. Although her personal style is more creative it-s a petty that you don-t see that beautiful face under all that make up.
What I also find important is that by watching these transfer videos make people understand that it-s not because you express yourself differently that you are scary or bad. I-ve binged some of these videos and all the people that look -different - are so sweet and likeable.

I remember a women in my Uni art class was 'goth' with pink hair. one day she said to me I must be the only person who has never commented or asked her about her makeup, clothes and hair! She said' i talked to her like a normal without asking her about her outer apperance. '! I was surprised she said that I didnt even think about the way she look except that its her way of expressing herself! She was bomb at makeup and got tips from her!

Credit where credit is due: the makeup transformation is proof of the Mia's talent combined with years of experience whether or not some likes the outcome. It's hard to cover tattoos and not have a gray cast showing through. It's hard to use heavier coverage without creating obvious texture on the skin. Serious props to the mua. Serious props to the BFF and their support and sense of humor. Loved it all!

I love the friendship!
The make-up artist did a great job, she looks great!
BUT, what utterly hideous clothes to put her in (hair band included) I REALLY don't know what they were thinking putting those patterns and such shapeless pieces on her.
I can certainly understand why neither of them were impressed with the over all new 'look! '

I-ve noticed a theme in all of these videos. Most of the people that dress like that comment in one way or the other that they enjoy the attention. Clearly that-s what they-re looking for. I assume not all attention is bad but they don-t seem to care. It seems any attention is good attention to them.

I love these videos an how many of them embrace who they are normally. I want to be signed up for the opposite makeover. From normal mom to alternative goth! Would love to see the transformation. Makeup is not usually my friend lol -

Just want to say they did her DIRTY with that outfit though and do they quite a bit on here like if they are going to give someone a makeover at least make the clothes flattering so they might be open minded to the potential change!

I like the makeup and the hair and she looks beautiful but the outfit is just hideous. Why do they always pick the most hideous and unflattering outfits for these type of makeovers and I'm wondering if it's done on purpose. Lol.

I understand that the 'goth' look isn't for everyone( especially the more extreme ones, but who really wants to look for basic nobody really would notice them? This is only good when you want to dress for a job interview.
reply

They always pick the least flattering colors, clothing, and hair. I swear their inspiration is the terrifying dollar store interpretation of Barbie rather than an actual person.

So they put her in a outfit that does nothing for her curves that she has no problem showing off? Basically, they put her in a colorful potato sack and called it -normal-

This was the best and so much fun. They had the greatest reactions. Makeup artist did a top notch job and I also LOVED that green look before too.
reply

I like her personal style. It was also nice to see her in more natural makeup, she looked so pretty. Even without any makeup at all she looked pretty.
reply

This was hilarious - I love these and the reactions they get. I-m glad they encourage the people to be themselves and they just do this for fun and laughs -

You look STUNNING! Why would you want to wear all of that stuff that you think makes you look good? You are so beautiful with your makeover!
reply

I love her style, but the makeover was beautiful. her face the glow it was amazing. that just says she could do any look.
reply

In all honesty I actually preferred her as a goth. Ok yes she's beautiful as a 'norm' but I genuinely prefer the gothic version
reply

How can a beautiful person destroy their face like that. I know she felt so beautiful inside and out. you tell in her smile.
reply

I LOVE THE SWAMP QUEEN! All the way. She would def be one of my homies, not this other girl that they changed her too.
reply

Ngl im waiting for that one episode were someone realizes they like the new style and change there look. She looked amazinggg
reply

The mustard stripe thing they made her wear was disgusting. Why not just let her be, she was odd and beautiful as she was.
reply

That outfit is so extremely basic it should be a crime -
The hair (without the headband) and makeup was good though.

reply

Those are the worst friends that nobody should have. she stays clean and beautiful while ruining her friends life.
reply

That outfit is so horrible -. They could-ve put her in a cute dress or literally anything other than that outfit.
reply

Me personally thinking she looks gorgeous in both, like she's damn confident carrying her the way she want!
