FOR Sarah Sabbath, it is pretty difficult to go anywhere unnoticed. The 26-year-old from El Paso, Texas got her first tattoo at the age of 14 and has kept going ever since. Sarah, who is a tattoo artist, is now 85% covered in tattoos having spent just over $5, 000. The self-confessed -tattoo addict- feels empowered when she looks in the mirror and said: -I would describe my aesthetic as modern art. - Sarah has not seen herself without tattoos for 13 years and is curious as to what she will look like - so today, a makeup artist will be covering them up. How will she react to seeing herself in the mirror? And what will her best friend, Heather and her boyfriend, Doubt make of this transformation?

The person without tattoos is -not who I am. - Actually, that is exactly who you are. -Me with my tattoos, is truly who i am. - Actually, that is NOT who you are. -I am happy with who I am. - No, you're not. Otherwise, you wouldn't destroy your body in such fashion. You can tell in her look, she does not like the tattooed girl. -Tattoos are there to hide who you are. - When you see her without them, someone below talks about her low confidence without the ink. True. She has no confidence in who she truly is, such that she seeks to hide herself behind the ink.
Just an observation. No hate intended. It is what it is. People without ink can be equally as insecure in themselves. I just don't like these false ideas that somehow someone is truly -happier- hiding from who they are. We are all weak one way or another.

I met Sarah once at a hotel party and have been around her a few times at the tattoo shop when I-ve gotten tattooed and even without knowing her on a super personal level, she-s a dope person. When I met her she had probably half as many tattoos as she has now and her confidence has always been the same, she-s definitely not afraid to be herself. This transformation was really cool to see.

You love her tattoos or her? It doesn't look like Sarah? This is the real Sarah. It's sad to see people ruin their skin with tattoos. She looks waaaay better without them, her energy changed and seemed more positive.

2: 28 typical reaction for people with heavy tattoos (after covering them up) --> -I feel naked! -
Tattoos become a instrinsic part of your Identity and personality. they melt together with who you are.
Removing them instantly feels like cutting your Arms or your Legs off. you feel incomplete.

She said at least three times. 'its not me' meaning WITHOUT the tattoos. but actually it is her. She just lost who she really is. I hate tattoos on anybody. All that adornment means nothing in the end. Work at perfecting our souls. that is all that matters.

My dad was a good tatto artist had them on him. He passed way March 3 2021 from a overdose. he was only 42 and I was almost 12 April 23. He drew a lot over 1000 pictures even one on the wall he has a gift from God

she seemed very nice and has a cool personality. i like that at the beginning she didnt say that they will transform her into a basic, she put it nicely when she said blank canvass. dont mind me im flying

To me tattoos are what bikers, truck drivers and ex-cons had growing up. I will never understand why people are so attracted to tattoos, if you like art - you can hang it on your wall.

Tattoos are nasty. Why splash buckets of paint on a work of art? Too much excess and they make people look dirty and messy. She looks much better without them but it is her life and her choice.
reply

Not one person will say they like themselves better with tattoos covered because the makeup washes away. It would be like admitting you made a mistake getting so many tattoos.

In general I'm not a fan of tattoos, especially multiple tattoos, but she looks better with them than without. The tattoos are what make her unique. Rock on girl.

wow some of you are full of crap. Beautiful? are you freaking kidding me. There has to be something not right in a persons head to do that to their body.
reply

My honest opinion, I felt they should of just took out the eye contacts and covered the face tattoos and maybe her neck. Kinda like how her friend looks.

Tattoos are not an IDENTITY.
Tattoos are not -WHO a person IS. -
Why is everyone praising this twisted version of self-worth? -

reply

Why do I always get this feeling of regret in their face. and by regret i mean the excessive amount of ink on their body & face
reply

She is proof that tattoos really need to banned, people who who do this to themselves don't know how ridiculous they look.
reply

If someone loves themselves the way they are- wouldn-t that mean without tattoos? Unless they were born with them-

I only want to know what the fluck is in her eyes? First they are black then they look sort of hazy purple.
reply
