NILA MORTON is a 22-year-old singleton currently living in Greenville, South Carolina. Nila was born with Ullrich, a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy, and does not let her condition affect her day-to-day life. Nila told Truly: -I'm a very active disabled woman, I don't allow my disability to define me or hold me back. It just causes limitations and some challenges, but you know, I'm going to just keep going. - Nila is yet to find the -one- and is excited to go on a blind date. -Dating hasn't been the best. But I do know that because of me being in a wheelchair, I will say that it causes a lot of men to feel insecure. It's just, it's just a life thing. - Nila is looking for a man who is open minded, has a good sense of humor and who she can have a really good time with. -I do like them nice and tall, not problematic and nicely built! - Will Nila find the man of her dreams?

My Husband was in a wheelchair, it does come with its difficulty, he died 4 months as of yesterday, not related to the wheelchair, but if I was to show up and my date were in a chair I'd be fine, been through it before. Honestly you don't notice the chair after awhile it just becomes an extension of them, but you have to think about travel, where is a good spot, bathrooms, isles(especially if the person is big like my Husband) it isn't an easy life, went through it for 4 years with him, had to lift his 150 lbs transfer chair into the car, he had an electric one like hers but it weighs 500 lbs, so you have to have a transport chair, pushing him up a ramp, thank God I had leg power, he was Obese which had caused his knee to give out and no longer work, they wouldn't do knee surgery because he was high risk, so pushing a 375 lbs Man in an wheelchair that was almost 200lbs up a ramp was a good work out. Tried to get him to diet before the wheelchair happened, but in one ear and out the other, but yeah, all people's situations are different though so can't say if this one would be. You could tell he was uncomfortable and people always have that, -Well look at you- attitude when people with disabilities do something, like they are people, do you expect them not to do things? I guess I just don't see the disability, I mean it comes with challenges, but I'm not like - This disability is the only thing they are- I see the person, but some that is all they see, this guy that is all he sees from the way he talks, though I know he doesn't intend it.

See, I love this representation for wheelchair bound folks, my Daddy had Becker's Muscular Dystrophy an became wheelchair bound when I's 8, an I know he always felt left out by many of his able bodied friends an also had a lotta discrimination by apartment managers for him makin his apartment more wheelchair accessible, plus he often had a hard time goin in stores an restaurants cause of poorly maintained handicapped parkin and/or walks/doors. I'm real glad things seem to be gettin better for disabled folks than they were 10-20 years ago.

And I don-t think they will meet up again, because he said -I did promise to take her out one more time-. That sounded like something he felt he had to do, as if he-s doing her a favour and not something he can-t wait to do. I can always read past peoples smiles. He-s on camera, so of course he-s going to present himself in the best way possible. It-s a shame though, hope I-m wrong. Cos she-s an amazing girl. She needs someone who matches her vibe.

My mom she-s been in a wheelchair after having a car accident way before I was born. The reason why she had this accident because someone cut her brakes then this lead into a collision with another vehicle. The impact it caused a part of her spinal cord. She maybe in a wheelchair, but trust me she-s one of them scary strict moms on the wheels -. After having a divorce with my dad, funny thing is my mom ended up with her high-school sweetheart.

You are a beautiful, positive, and bright spirit. You are alot of fun, laughing and smiling alot. I am not disabled and alot older and haven't done the things you have. And many people who do not have disabilities will never accomplish what you have. Any man is a nut not to have you on his arm. Blessings to you and may your dreams keep coming true.

Shes stunning she's funny she has so much inspiration in what she wants to do in life and she's so positive and confident honestly what isn't there to like? She deserves happiness just like any able bodied person infact she does more with her life than some people who take being healthy for granted. Wish you lots of luck hope you find your guy

She should put her situation into context. Of course it isn-t -fair- that men would discriminate against her in dating because of her wheelchair, but would she hold the same opinion if she could walk and was dating a man I. A wheelchair? Possibly, but statistically speaking, that is very unlikely.

I will admit, as a blind date. The wheelchair would be a shocker. Bcz of the unknown. But she seems to be lively and positive. So, once I get the tough questions outta the way. Bcz I would be curious. She seems to be a lovely young lady.

Why is it always skinny guys that go on these blind dates. People want everyone to look pass their disability I-m for that but no one ever set them up with someone who has a disability or a fat guy. The world love bbw but shame fat men.

If there is attratcion there is attraction. And if it is not it is not. I rarly notice someone in general. And last one was in a wheelchair, I went back to look for him to say hi because of his energy and attitude -

As someone in a wheelchair I'm glad it worked. At 46 not a day goes by when I wonder if I will ever date again.
