TELSAH, from Arizona, USA, has completely transformed her body and life after losing an amazing 120lbs. Telsah was always a bigger child and developed a bad relationship with food at an early age. Her calorie count was between 6, 000 and 7, 000 per day and was filled with unhealthy junk food. Telsah told truly: I used food as a comfort for anything, whether it was sadness, happiness, scared, stress, it didn't matter what it was. This unhealthy binge eating led to her weight gain and despite showing a happy exterior, Telsah kept her real feelings hidden way inside. Telsah said: The feeling of me being scared to die at such a young age, me being almost 300lbs, eating three to four dinners a day. I knew I needed to change my life. At the age of 18, Telsah decided to act and made the life changing decision to have vertical gastric sleeve surgery. With a lot of hard work, changing her diet and working closely with a personal trainer, Telsah dropped an incredible 120lbs and has finally got the body and confidence she always wanted. Telsah added When I look in the mirror now, I see me, I see happiness and I see a fit, healthy, happy person. You have to have faith in yourself and just go with it

We should have a health plan, for, pre-diabetics borderline diabetics & late stage diabetics. For example these people should be educated on the symptoms of diabetes, the damage it causes to the body such as blindness, kidney failure, edema, by-pass surgery, annurysim, heart attack & stroke. Because firstly prevention is better than cure, the country will save millions of dollars in kidney transplant, insulin & heart surgery. Afterall diabetes leads to all these diseases. Heart disease is the biggest killer in the world, followed by stroke. People need to wake up & smell the roses, because we eat to live & Not live to eat. This health plan should incorporate dietians, doctor's & exercise, before it's too late. Diabetes affects more than 450 million worldwide annually, & in the USA alone every 4 mins a person is added to the kidney transplant list. People must avoid stroke at all costs, because if you get a stroke an effort that used to take you 4%, after a stroke it will take you 70%. You can still enjoy your fast & fine foods & live a healthy & satisfied life.
Diabetes is reversible, even in the late stages, but the sooner you have a healthy diet & make it a habit, the longer your life expectancy will be. I wish I had studied the symptoms & damage diabetes causes & I would have taken drastic action 20 years ago. Just look up the symptoms of a stroke, because I don't want anyone to ho through a stroke.
--------. It's also the responsibility of diabetics obey their homework & comply with the health plan.

As a woman, I congratulate her on the weight loss and new life. However, I applauder women who have lost the weight without surgery, through healthy eating and exercising. I have no issue with women then having a tummy tuck to cut off the excess skin, but it's more difficult to lose the weight through hard work and discipline.

Wow, and all it takes is true want of change, and not sit and wallow in self pity.
To think that obesity is being celebrated across social media, is ok for the few but dangerous for the many.
You look amazing, the difference and the results, wow u deserve every single ounce of results.

I love that weight-loss-storys. They make me feel good. The main characters all start out as the ugly duckling and end as a swan. Right from the first second you can look forward to the happy ending. I have seen a tons of them and I can't stop watching.

Our stomach is large and it needs more food to feel full it needs to shrink but for it to shrink you have to eat less but it-s very hard. It-s okay to use pills or surgery to help you shrink you stomach otherwise it-s so hard and most likely ends in failure

She is one out of many on Brand new me that is honestly revealing of the surgery. I have 3 friends big as her, 2 did her type of surgery and were successful. The one that didn-t do it never lost weight no matter what she diet or exercise or pill she took.

Customized practices help people to get into their own individual flow.
Just consider your body and move. One of the biggest human drives is to help others by training somebody who needs more help than you. Teachers are the best learners.

Yet another story of going the easy way about weight loss. It's hard being overweight, but I am tired of people showing the easy way out, not everyone can afford a surgery, but everyone can build their discipline.

She looks so gorgeous now! I love stories of people who finally get honest with themselves, and realize that they can choose to have the body they want if they address the emotional issues causing them to abuse food

I love watching these videos of people that accomplish weight loss goals, I have been on my journey for 5 years loosing about 180 lbs and gaining muscle mass and it-s not easy but it-s well worth the work.

I am 54 kg and only eating once a day to maintain my weight - my body produce more fat than what normal person does. Eventhough I am vegan I easily gain weight. it is such a sad sad life

I'm happy she's happy and healthy. I lost 160lbs myself. I think that she carried her former weight well I wouldn't have guessed she was that heavy. It must have been the cheerleading.
reply

Do you guys eat the foods they always show in these videos or are you just ordering it to show and then throw it away? I hope someone eats it. if not that's waste of food.
reply

As a plus size woman, I-m more like Tess Holliday, I donT overeat. I hate these videos because they assume that all plus size women are like this, and it-s simply not true.

The worst comments I have read on this thread have Come from men. If you don't have something nice to Say, move on. No one is seeking advice or validation from you here.

Great job! Something I wonder about the very obese people who eat so much-where do get the money to buy the food? So much take out food has to be expensive.

I would love to see people lose weight from natural abilities then using a gastric sleeve-. the slower you lose it, the better it stays off.
reply

I don't understand these young ladies who think that making their voices rough and grating is attractive. I hear it all the time now.
reply

Okay, but when they show old photos versus footage of them working out, fit and healthy, I just think, -DANG, THEY LOOK GOOD! -
reply

The secret to success is hidden in your daily routine. Consistency is it, put the work in and you-ll get results eventually
reply

I may freely quote Kate Moss here ans say: -Being thin [normal] feels better than any food tastes-. This is so true.
reply

I had the gastric sleeve in Jan 2006 and I lost 100 pounds in four months.
Kept it off for fifteen+ years.

reply

U don't need to cheat and get surgery to lose weight. do it naturally. start off by walking. and start eating clean.
reply

Fat to fit usually leaves hanging skin at some places but she doesnt seem to have them or she wasnt that fat?
