AFTER experiencing two traumatic events on the same day, Chris decided to turn his life around and lose an incredible 180lbs. In 2016, Chris, 29, from California, weighed 380lbs. The motivation for change came from a moment of personal hardship: a friend's suicide and his mum being sent to jail. Chris told Truly: -I found out about both things on the same day and I was really depressed and felt like a prisoner in my own body

Just wanna remind you of an effect after you already lost a certain number of weights in your journey here. If you lose weights too fast, later in life your weights tend to bounce back and you could gain even more weights than you used to have. I experienced this effect before when I was too hurry in losing my extra fat. It is our metabolism's primal mechanism that push our body to the direction of reserving more energy in the face of sudden starvation and hunger. Do some research about it and make sure you could avoid it.

This is also a cultural issue. Too many Black and Latino families with bad diets/the cheapest, worst food for their kids. thus creating a life-long habit. I've seen too many kids (under or approx. 7 years old) who are obese. Not -a little chubby-. OBESE. This has worsened, over the past 25+ years.

As someone who has lost a lot of weight it is amazing seeing someone who doesn't want skin removal surgery. To each their own but if you're someone who's lost a lot of weight this guy is a huge inspiration. Doesn't make me feel like i 'have' to get a surgery to appear normal.

Nice! Thanks for the motivation. I-ve been fit now for a year again and I-ve been slipping for a few weeks wondering if it-s worth it. You reminded me it worth it! Thanks. Seriously.

If you can get to lose that much weight it may be better than if someone whose never been fat suddenly gets fatter later in life. Better to just make a whole lifestyle of health

I notice how a lot of men say they don't want the skin surgery, but the women man, will have a surgeon cutting everything off. But whatever makes you feel more comfortable.
