I don't have my upper front two teeth because i lost them in a terrible car accident and dentists said that I would have to apply new teeth cuz my teeth (before they broke) were permanent. Now i am 14+ and they will apply my new teeth and also obiously inject numbing liquid into my gums! - i am so sad because after the accident i lost 5 teeth! 3 were temporary teeth whatever they are called and 2 were permanent! One of the permanent teeth were hanging in my mouth so i couldn't eat for 5 DAYS! when i got to the dentist to remove it, they numbing liquid into my gums and it was horribly painful and i started crying non stop (i was 10 at that time) i also had to get stitches on my lips cuz they were torn apart. So yea. I had to suffer a lot and i also got a lot of injuries infact apart from all my family members my situation was the most critical. And also they gave me stitches without numbing that area of course. So you know how terribly painful that would have been for me-- i always pray to god to give me my teeth back but i dont think that i can get them back now--

I was born with a missing tooth, after high school I was able to get an implant but going through school with a missing tooth was hard. I had a retainer that I was able to wear to disguise it and no one knew for the longest but one day I took it out because I had it while eating and it was the worst thing ever because of how people reacted. When you hear guys and girls say I could never date someone with bad teeth and yet I was born with a missing tooth hurts. I was missing the canine right next to my front tooth. I-ve spent thousands of dollars on fixing my smile and I-m really proud of it but I really wish people weren-t so hard on people like me.

I can relate to this, but more so because I too had my teeth damaged during the time I wore braces.
My ex punched me in the teeth and all the bottom row got twisted and pushed in all different directions - I wonder if having braces saved my teeth? But yeah, luckily they were able to correct them for the most part. They are slightly crooked though but I am lucky I didn't lose any.
Well, a part from one of my front teeth that he punched and it died but I can get that fixed.

My daughter to this day, is boiling over in anger because after a bad car accident in which she couldn't breath, I gave the doctor permission to perform a tracheal Intubation, that possibly with prayer saved her life. Now, there's a VERY small scar u can hardly see, and she has the nerves to be SO self conscious, she got a tattoo over the scar. She is SO gorgeous and smart, I'm UNCLEAR on WHY she, blames me, or either cares. At least she's not dead, but ALIVE.

I have to get all false teeth. I developed a rare side effect of a medication and it caused severe nausea and vomiting to the point of being hospitalized for weeks at a time with a constant IV fluids and potassium drip. I also had a nasal feeding tube for a bit because I was losing too much weight too fast. All the vomiting ruined my teeth and I developed an infection in my gums and my teeth are beyond saving. I-m hoping I-ll be able to have this kind of confidence again.

I'm so tired of people saying -oh why do they always choose to be a model? - people have NO idea how it truly helps. When a person has a rare condition, or some sort of difference in their body it makes them feel alone and insecure. Models are always these perfect people with no differences. It's so important to know that anyone can be beautiful no matter what, young people can grow up with little to no insecurities if it gets more normalized

Wow. This video actually makes me sick. I have lost all my teeth and I can't wear regular dentures because of my gag reflex. The kind that I need, the implants, are very expensive in the USA. I am so self conscious about my teeth, I don't smile with my mouth open, I actually prefer wearing a mask, because then no one can tell. She needs to check her privilege, as the kids say.

I don-t have teeth at all. I have full plates. I had some hereditary health problems that affected my teeth, so I made the difficult decision to just have them pulled. I-m also always told I have a nice smile and I-m like, haha they-re fake as hell, lol. You really can-t tell they-re fake.

Truly inspiring, ppl my way in NC still haven't come around to a simple peer acceptance without judgment smh. Lost a few teeth skateboarding as well and caught all kinds of crap until I fixed them 3 years later and still do from some random ppl I seen without them fixed.

She is an inspiration to me because I lost my front tooth in a flag accident in color guard in high school but it's just one tooth and I was so self conscious about it and she taught me it doesn't define me.

I lost my front tooth in roller skating. I had get tooth pulled bcuz it started decaying. I used partial for year's. &yes it's embarrassing but then replaced with an implant &it's permanent
