AT 71, and with 11 pole dancing world championship titles to her name, Greta is well and truly proving that age is just a number. In her younger years, she was a keen gymnast - but it was not until she was 59 years old that she took up pole dancing in a bid to stave off osteoporosis. Though she admits her first class was tough, she persevered and was soon mastering gravity-defying tricks. At the age of 62, Greta, who lives in California, entered her first contest, competing against dancers decades younger than her - some as young as 18. Since then, she has been travelling the world, perfecting new routines, and participating in competitions. To date, she has won a grand total of 11 world championships. Not even a double hip replacement, a few years ago, stopped Greta, and she hopes her story will inspire others that they needn't be held back by their age

I'm so jealous of her attitude and outlook on life! --- The way she looked at lifting weights or lifting her body, then saw the videos and saw them as beautiful! So she said -that's what I want to do! - I mean I wish I could have that kind of drive! She's an absolutely beautiful soul. -

This is what am talking about everyone should not let age stop them you can do whatever you put you heart to. She is beautiful, strong and not letting anything stop her.

I was shocked until she said she was a competitive gymnast and dancer when she was young. That just makes you so much healthier and more agile for your entire life.

Bizarre. I met a 74 year old pole dancer from a TV talent show the other day going into my masseuse office. How did The Algorithm decide to show this? Its watching us.

This is not a sport. Females spreading their legs in public and do erotic movements is everything but sport. No matter how hard you try to sell it, it looks cheap.

Wow, what an inspiration! I'm 52, I just started pole dancing, and I love it! I'm working on building my upper body strength and hope to get to her level one day.

This woman is amazing! Good for her. I started pole classes when I was 40 and it is by far the most fun and helped me be the most fit I had been since 20!

This is what testosterone and hgh can do. It is super bad a$$. She's hot. And? Uhhh? When did anyone think they would say that about someone whose 71?
reply

Wow. and modest too. I'm 56. and somehow, I get injured while I sleep. If I did this, it would be. - I've fallen off a pole and I can't get up-
