It can be amazing when kids who passed the age of the doctors said most likely about 12 years of age the doctors told my parents I will not make it pass 12 years old. I am over 30 years of age now, one cannot tell physically that I have a disability by my appearance, but I am short stature and understand short statures and have been told after graduating college I was walking by school and a staff member told me I better get to class, I laughed because I was passing middle school building on sidewalk to get to my event. that was so interesting! I am really interested in Sammy's story. I wonder since it is a chromosone disorder and they are doing so much with manipulating gene's in the womb now if it is something that would be able to be changed in the womb someday! I hope Sammy does discover some way to prevent or change the genes that cause this disease.

You can feel how proud Lukes parents are when they talk about him. It's sad that some people take their kids away when they get close to him, hopefully the children will still learn to accept everyone, maybe even teach their parents. I hope the family will be able to gain a lot more memories.

I'm right there with ya girl. I had to get all my teeth removed due to severe illness and malnutrition amongst a plethora of other reasons like meds. I get judged and have literally hidden myself away from the world. I recently had bone grafting done but cannot afford to get implants.

Your amazing. And ur right there are worse things than loosing ur teeth! I have a major calcium deficiency and it caused me to lose mine as well along with being super prone to bone brakes and way slow healing, my friends joke that ya im 38 outside but inside im 85 lol.

6: 06 I see her dancing here. If you age so fast, she-s in her 40s but her body is much older. Does she -feel- older? I-m 37 and I feel like an old man. My knees and back are shot. I have arthritis etc etc. Do they feel like that at 10? 15?
